Long answer warning, sry second part correct(It doesn't matter which one you use google, meta, etc they are similarly good/bad) first part not, I use whisper for transcription(it's 96% accurate - tho I have seen it making things up when the clause/sentence is badly incomplete). The youtube transcripts are generally good as it outputs the correct words with correct suffixes(it's actually worse for english transcripts lol) but it randomly cuts sentences into parts, and that is why machine translators struggle with it. Unfortunately there is no other way to do it on this scale, plus the autotranscripts are also just not available on many videos on mobile which is a solid 70% of viewers. Maybe if this channel becomes some sort of hub for the many amazing translators that are spread out in the kpop community. But even then the smaller groups just don't have those people in their fandom(not for livestreams - the effort reqquired is so high). I wasn't really sure about subbing youtube content because it seemed redundant given the kind of the added value, but got positive feedback on it so far so I'll continue doing them. Now that I'm thinking about it, the lives on the 7th, maybe that error I had last week... I should look into it.
