I love the little black on Taz,s ears and at the end when you tell him to go all out how he pins his ears back and pours it on. The voice is a powerful tool to get your horse to jump, especially when you growl at them. After all the voice is an aide.
Susan Bilodeau Sometimes growling and shouting discourages the horse and looks really bad when u shout at the horse. Gives the appearance that you get really mad at the horse. In this sense I think it was really unnecessary
@@georgie9011you're probably not a horse person lol Growling encourages the horse yo not think abt stopping. It's a really good tool.
@@Caz_Hamilton i absolutely am i horse person lol if you want your horse not to stop maybe actually use ur leg or some other aid. growling is totally unnecessary in my opinion. when i'm at shows even the people who growl the loudest at their horses end up getting eliminated because the horse doesn't go. the voice is absolutely an aid, but for me i believe it isn't cool to speak to ur horse in an angry way. you wouldn't growl at a team mate so why would you growl at your horse?
@@georgie9011 leg and voice aid work together, the voice aid is an extra thing to help encourage the horse on. Maybe it's different where you live, but here voice aids are very common and popular.
@@Caz_Hamilton everyone uses voice aids where i am. just not many people growl at their horses. i am very much aware voice and leg aids work together. voice aids like higher pitched spoken works, kissing and clucking the horse on are encouraging. deeper toned 'woahs' are what you get to slow down. along with half halts, sitting deeper and all that. but straight up growling at your horse doesnt seem very encouraging at all.
