Even as a little boy, I couldn't resist unscrewing devices and seeing what was inside. To my father's delight, I also destroyed one or two new devices in the process. I have never taken a course in electronics or programming and have built up all my knowledge myself through try-and-error and from the web. In this channel I share with you my experience and knowledge.
Enjoy, Marc

It seems to be a quite common error on these Node 2 streaming devices. Very simple fix - have a look.
Tesla Model S Performance on racetrack in France
Переглядів 14 тис.11 років тому
2022 refresh of the 2013 clip. I am still driving this car - no problems at all. Very astonishing for a 2013 beta model. See two all electric Tesla Model S Performance 85 and 85 race against Porsche, BMW, Audi on the French racetrack Anneau du Rhin. At 1:35 you can see a Tesla flying off the racetrack - gladly, nothing happened to the car nor to the driver ,-)

What an EXCELLENT video. My Node 2 had the same problem. I was able to bring it back by replacing the two capacitors, using this video as a great guide.
Thank you for your feedback! I am glad it helped.
Works again! Fantastic!
Great to hear!
Are there any solid capacitors from a premium brand that would change also the quality of sound? I'm about to get a Powernode 2 for a few pounds that has the red light problem and I want to know if it can be brought to life but also to get the improved experience. Thanks
I don't think so - these caps are not in the signal path. Since they are getting warm or hot I would choose some 105 degree ones. Make sure capacity and voltage are correct and have an eye on polarity.
Then changing all the caps will do. Just kidding. If ai aint broken, dont fix it. Thanks Marc
I had the same problem. Your video helped me replacing the 2 capacitors and now it is working perfectly again. Thanks very much!
Lucky you ;-)
LHY upgrade filter board DC5V ifi ipower elite 5v power supply Aardvark Classic Ethernet Isolator
I think I have a similar power supply but with less options upstairs. An inheritance from my father. I have yet to try it out but with all these switched power supplies that I have here it is getting no use for the moment. Also with that transformer it weighs a ton! Just also saw your repair on that Nad, wow that was a cool find. Those were really expensive in the days compared to other brands. Can I ask what that blowdryer is? Seems to work great!
Thank you for your comment. I am not sure if I understand "blowdryer". Maybe you mean the solder sucker? It is this one: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003667215511.html
@@MarcsHobbies The 'thing' you are holding at 11:30
ah, got it. It is this one: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007741497056.html
First impression: MUCH better build quality than what restorers have come to know and have colourful words about from Zetagi, Chinaglia etc ...
I agree. Btw, they still produce an updated version with a 7 segment display. (www.alphaelettronica.com/al862d.html) The schematics are pretty similar.
Holy F**k! It actually worked. Thanks! First time I have ever repaired a device using my terrible soldering skills
Cool, as I said - if I can do it, you can do it too!
Great video! What is that tool that you used to clip the soldered connections from the underside of the board?
Thank you for your comment. You are probably talking about a solder sucker ;-). I used one of these: www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005632540345.html
Very nice ! Thank you !
Thank you for your friendly comment - appreciate it!
I need to figure out how to fix my vfd display on my tape deck. I wonder if it's similar to your process? Fantastic job by the way!
Just try it! These displays are all built very similar, so the process should the same.
Danke für die perfekte Anleitung Marc! Du hast damit sicher schon einigen hundert Bluesound Node Nutzern geholfen.
Vielen lieben Dank. Das freut mich sehr.
Thanks a lot for sharing this on video, my Node 2 had the same problem, but now back up and runing
Glad it helped. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you :-) My Node 2 is up and running again :-)
Thank you for your feedback. I am really happy that it worked for you as well.
How many laps can you do before the battery is overheating? Gruß aus Basel. Ich fahre einen P90D und möchte gerne zum Anneau du Rhin fahren
It’s a long time ago. I guess it was about 5 full laps full throttle when the limiter kicks in.
Same problem, thank you so much for the helpful video. Replaced the 2 with 16v 1000 and works again.... For only 2€🎉🎉
Cool! I am happy that it worked. Cheers, Marc
Thanks for sharing Marc! My Node 2 is up and running again :-)
I am really glad that I could help.
Thanks for the help. My Node2 needs sama care and now it works fine :)
Thanks man.
For the glueish case just take alcohol and cotton to remove it
Thank you for your comment. I actually tried with alcohol but it seemed to week as a solvent. Wolfgang finally took acetone which did the trick.
thanks to share this video, i had the same problem whit my bluesound node, i follow the steps in your video and now it''s working again thank you so much it cost me ony 2 euro for the parts
Happy that I could help.
really nicely made video ,.mine has not gone south yet but if it does I know what to look for thanks
thank you for this. Highly appreciated.
would have liked to see the repair of the Revox.
Thank you for your input - this inspires me to change my priorities and finish the Revox. It is laying around for months now.
Thank you very much my dad's node 2 stopped working a while ago and now thanks to you we fixed it together!!
Thank you for your message - I am really happy for you that this worked for you.
nice watch ;-) My Node2 is showing the same fault. Great clarity and pace to your video. It's given me the confidence to give it a go myself.
Thank you. Just go for it.
Sad... Too bad u need 80 different shots due to the drastic immediate power loss and shiite handling
The more you race it the sooner the batteries overheat and remind you it's just a drag car ha ha ha ha
Car sux on a road course. Was nice of the 911 to yield.
Race? where is that. That slob can't even race...
Where is the part where they " race" against Porsche, BMW, Audi? I saw a few cars cruising around on a track day and two Tesla's under steering but that's all.
Lap times?
The sound of fighter jets taking off from an aircraft carrier would have been more appropriate than the background noise you had here. :)
preservationists on a "racetrack"... can't stop laughing...
No need for music
internal combustion engines make their own music
the music sucks balls
Z ..Z ..Z -_- boring, id rather watch a miata
The tesla has great potential for oversteer. with its very low center of gravity and huge instantaneous torque, getting the rear wheels to slide on you isn't hard at all. unfortunately being electric, there is no gearbox let alone a clutch but this is quickly becoming the case with all cars. the last car to be offered only with a manual gearbox (the SRT Viper) has stopped production because of lack of sales. the art of shifting is dying but you can still have fun in a car whether its electric or gas. I'm actually very excited about the upcoming hybrid sports cars like the BMW i8 which get much better fuel economy than a Toyota Prius yet still perform quite well.
Bow to your new electric overlords.
Maybe they look different - but they are stock silver 21
Did you powder coat the wheels on the one without the carbon fiber spoiler? They dont look as shiny as the stock silver 21s
Cool
The music is terribly distracting.
genial
Unfortunately no timing this day.
Times ? And other cars times?
George - let me give the numbers in cm: Arm length: 100 cm, opening in the back: 30 cm, opening front: 80 cm The X-Arms are each: 77 cm Motors: RC Timer 2836/7 Props 10x4.3 CG depends on the weight - I am using 2 Lipo 4s and a GoPro on the stick in the front so it needs to be shifted app. 15 cm from the X-ing to the front. Hope you can work with this information. Good luck!
nice fly
nice stable, what spec frame, motor, esc, and props
I would very much like to see more of this thing--this is exactly the sort of frame I'm looking to build. Do you have a build log posted anywhere?
Wow nobody wants a multirotor to be that quiet up there... nice luck!
Nice. I have a question. For the octo configuration, according to the WIKI two of the motors are connected to CH10/CH11. Where is that located, since there are only 8 channels of output on the AP board.
@elijahwooddrummer you get the frame at quadframe, the electronics at diydrones and the rest at hobbyking. Instructions at code.google.com/p/ardupirates Happy Flying...
It lasts about 12-15 min with a common 3000 lipo
