Were you able to buy that scar cheaper since it has that multicam paint job? I've always wanted to get one and spray paint it, this might be the best option for me.
You have good intuition. I was able to get the limited edition desert camo 17S from Bud’s Gun shop for over $400 off. They’ve raised the price on it a little bit, but it’s still a very good deal. I honestly don’t love the desert camo (it looks worse in person). I’m not into repainting guns, but I honestly might have to at some point haha.
What buffer setup?

@@JohnZ556 Oh yeah, that is correct. Knowing LMT is known for govt contracts this barrel might have a pretty large gas port so its reliable in all conditions. Thank you!

I have a 16inch as well, the 12.5 is a good length for 0-400 yards

I'm not an expert, but believe the KNS version is similar to an FNFAL gas adjustment setting and the gas is flow through? From other reviews I've read, I think the Mototech is better if using night vision because of the gas bleedout on the KNS. I don't have night vision so I can't verify. Positive reviews for both so far.
