Space Wolves Kill Team Showcase 2
Grey Tide Studio released a tonne of excellent accessories for Space Wolves with their Primal Hounds campaign. Unable to resist, I've been adding new Kill Team members to my squad in order to make it a bit more rules compliant*. Enjoy!

Armour looks straight out of 2nd ED , fantastic work
Very good great colour scheme😃
What kit did you use to upgrade to wolves? These just standard space marine minis painted as wolves?
This is a mixture of assault and regular intercessors (along with the Primaris Lieutenant) with kitbashing from various sources. There's some sculpting too. So essentially yes, regular marines painted as Space Wolves. Hope this helps.
Appreciate the video! I’m new to the hobby and needed some inspiration as this is my first build!
This is the view from redroom.

Hi there, sorry I didn't see you reply earlier - no I haven't done a genuine jungle base before. Definitely something I should get to grips with!

I'm very new to model painting... and the whole "this bits metal" thing seems to ellude me. there's obviously metal paints... (i dont have any fancy metal paints though, just the standard vajello), non-metallic metal, dry brushing etc... what do you tend to opt for? technique wise. the NMM seems like it'd be defeated by viewing from other angles, the metal always looks like 'metal paint'. my best results have been with darker chipping and metal (silver usually) inside that darker area. highlighting a metal paint with a different metal paint or a standard bright colour seems like some kind of wizardary. love to hear your thoughts on that can of worms
Hey there Ross, I'm going to be focusing on Senor Biggy's gun in the next installment so that may help explain the process I use. Yeah the whole viewing from multiple angels/light sources is one of my main issues with NMM to the point where I feel NMM makes a lot more sense for dioramas, busts, bigger scale models - pieces where they only exist in their own context (?) - not being put in various scenarios on multiple terrain sets. Alternatively I'm just making excuses to not learn a new technique? We'll see.... Anyway, less typey-typey more painty-filmy-edity!
Wow this looks awesome! I really enjoy making these McFarlane models. Making a gravis armor space wolf soon. Do you have an Instagram I can follow?
Hello there, Here's my Instagram instagram.com/redroomminis/ there'll be more soon. Thanks for your support!
