What are the animals up to inside the Biodome?
The Montreal Biodome is an indoor ecological museum located in Montreal, Canada, that allows visitors to explore and experience five distinct ecosystems from the Americas. The Biodome recreates environments such as the Tropical Rainforest, the Laurentian Maple Forest, the Sub-Antarctic Islands, the Gulf of St. Lawrence Marine Ecosystem, and the Labrador Coast and Arctic Tundra. Each ecosystem is home to a variety of plants and animals that coexist as they would in their natural habitats. Visitors can observe animals like capybaras, sloths, penguins, and puffins, as well as fish and other marine creatures.

Looks really small compared to the huge things we have today. Hard to believe people lived in these primitive machines with 2 miles of abyss beneath their feet. Brave lads.
Amazing ship, well worth seeing
As is usually the case, her elder sister takes all the plaudits and entertains the great and the good - but Warrior remains, steadfast as ever, proud as ever...oh, and still afloat after 164 years with no assistance or dry dock required. Top that, Vic... 😉
"Top that Vic." Vic is 246 years old, and is made of wood, and she is still with us, Topped, don't you think, Victory took part in at least six fleet actions, How many times did Warrior fire her guns in anger, zero. Topped, again, don't you agree?. HMS Warrior is fantastic, i love the ship to bits, i visit the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth five or six times a year, and i always make time for this gorgeous lady. To realise the state she was in before she went to Hartlepool to be virtually rebuilt, is unbelievable when you see her condition now, the people in Hartlepool can feel rightly proud of the job done on her. I think the guides on the ship, in period costume, are brilliant, they act just as if they are part of the real crew, from back in 1860. I love Victory, she should be treasured, no matter the cost, and it is costing millions in this current refit, to see her in the state she is in at the moment is, for me, heartbreaking. But i have visited the Dockyard so many times over the years, i think Warrior is neck and neck with Victory as my favourite.

great post,leaving luton england in 1969 ,november 5th is the day i miss most from over home,we used to have three to four stories high bonfires,anything not welded down was going on,then we used to beg pennies, hapenies and three pence by putting a stuffed guy on some rickety old wagon and wheel it around,then on the 4th,round up the coins we begged for and got rockets ,jumping jacks,penny and 3 and 6 penny bangers,they could literally blow your hand off,toss them all in a big box just crammed full,plus our dads would get the big collections.we would go to 12 or 1 am,hot spiced wine so everyone was pissed and us kids were in heaven,how i miss those days.......once again great post and good luck this year....
