Hard agree on one for my enemy, except i eventually admitted defeat like 50 pages left of the book, but it just made me so depressed every time i looked at the book knowing i still had to finish it, i just couldn't do it. so much plot potential but the characters were so interchangeable, i feel like Olivie spent more time trying to make each sentence sound like a tumblr quote that she forgot about character development

I lowkey love mass market paperbacks bc they smell good (lol??), make a nice crinkly sound when you hold it, are great for traveling, and I kind of like the cracks in the spine that shows you read a book. They look terrible on a shelf though 😭

Book I started but havnt finished -The Queen of the Conquered by Kacen Callander (very heavy historical fantasy that deals with slavery) -Lost in Paradise by Rachel Lacey (romance I lost access to when I canceled KU, but just bought so I can finish it) Three before the end -Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy (most intimidating bookclub book) -North is the Nidht by by Emily Rath (preorder not out yet) -Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao (other preorder) On my tbr the longest -I Was Told There'd be Cake by Sloan Crosley (I preordered that in 2008! lol) Best Reread -Taken by the Witch Queen by Luna Fury Fav new author Genevieve Gornichec! If you like Fate Inked in Blood, she's AMAZING! Fav debut author -Nine Tailed by Jaycee Lee Biggest let down -After Earth by Debbie Urbanski

There are instructions for the candle holder (you bend the image upwards) and the pages for the overlays are on the online spoiler card! I am bummed that they got rid of all the paper bits though. My overlays seemed to fit slightly better than yours but in the future I think they do need to trim them down a little.

I havnt read Good Omens either, but i do know its about an angel and a demon teaming up to save the world. It's a funny buddy adventure and may have some mm love. There is a Prime show if u want a taste.

I just found your channel. I am 60, and I love YA still. I like to watch Hallmark during the holidays but not to read. Great job! I hate the tiny paperbacks also.

I have finished The Poppy War series, overall 3.75☆. You did like the first one sigificantly more than me but you probably made the right choice. I LO♡E Priory of the Orange Tree but 100% agree that the ending is reshed and weak. A Day of Fallen Night was much better paced And I like it even more. Amina al-Sirafi was a 3☆ when I origonally rated it but 2.25☆ is where I am now I just bought Forged by Blood! lol, I'm still excited for it but I do need to wait till Im in the right mood for it.

I loved Love Theoretically and Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries. Check and Mate and Happy Place are on my TBR list. I am looking forward reading Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands and Funny Story.
