One of the first rides of the 2017 season during the easter weekend. The bike is brand new with about 400 kilometres on it, so, unfortunately, I had to stay in the lower rev ranges. Sounds very good. Why do the 1200 have some many pops and bangs when coming off the throttle?
Thanks! I changed the exhaust to remus and since then the pops and bangs were a lot more.
Which kind of settings did you put on the GoPro? (seems a gopro). And is it chin mounted?
Yes, it's chin mounted. For the settings, unfortunately I don't remember them anymore. I also used an ND-Filter.
How do you like those handlebars? are they more comfortable than the stock clip ons? Did you notice any difference in the bikes handling? Are they more comfortable for longer rides?
I like the handlebars, the handling is fine and they are also comfortable. Unfortunately i can't compare them to the stock clip ons, because I never rode with them installed.

I don't have much of a comparison, because I had the straight handlebar already mounted. The riding position is very comfortable and the bike handles really well.

In person how do you think these compare to the stock ones? Are they worth the money and "really make a difference"? It sounds great on your videos but im guessing that the mic placement plays its part :-)
I would not pay the full price for them (around 900€ in my country), I got them used for around 500 bucks. They definitely make a difference sound wise, although I prefer the look of the stock ones.

Very very nice vidéo, and awesome sound capture....I use also the Zoom H1n, but the result depends of the sound volume and the place where you put the H1n. apparently you found the right place for the thruxton...but can you show your settings ? Thanks

Geiles Video Super Strecke die 124er - Fahr ich selber auch sehr oft . Die Thruxton ist ein Hammer Bike !! ABER BITTE BITTE -demontiere die hässlichen Heizgriffe um die 80€ hättest du auch Originale von Triumph bekommen - wenn man die richtige Teilenummer kennt. Grüße Georg

Seit heute bin ich nun auch stolzer Besitzer einer Thruxton R, hast du für diesen Sound den Kat entfernt oder ist der Klang bereits nur mit den Remus Endschalldämpfern möglich?
Kat und dB-Killer sind drinnen, also legaler Sound - war für mich völlig ausreichend. Viel Spaß mit dem Moped, ist ein super Teil!

Mit DB Eater, also alles legal. Der Remus klingt echt top, auch wenn ich den originalen Auspuff schöner finde.

Das war von Spitz an der Donau über Elsenreith nach Ottenschlag. Wies aussieht wohl eine Street Triple RS. Habe zwischen Tuono, der alten Speed Triple RS und der neuen überlegt, aber mir ist die Handlichkeit auf öffentlichen Straßen wichtiger als die Leistung, deswegen wohl die Street Triple 😅🙈

Ich habe inzwischen alle Strecken ausfindig gemacht. Nur noch diese Episode 7, entlang des kleinen Baches hinab zur Donau, kann ich nicht auffinden. Wo bitte ist das?
Habe die Strecke nun doch gefunden: Haslauerbachbrücke, Urthaleramt, Gasthaus Rote Säge, auf der L7275 über Mitterndorf nach Isperdorf - Donau. Schön leer die Piste und wunderschön. :-)

Die Videos mit dem tollen Sound auf den phantastischen Strecken sind - wie schon geschrieben - super. Jedoch musste ich ziemlich suchen, von wo nach wo "die Reise jeweils geht". -:) Weißenkirchen z. B. oder auf der Ritzlingbachstraße noch Ottenschlag. Wenn man das mal selber erfahren will, wäre im Titel ganz schön, wenn da Start und Ziel stehen würde. Muss ich bei mir dann auch eintragen.
Ich habe im Übrigen eine Speed Twin und eine Kawa H2 - macht schon Spaß.
@@frankkawa2536 Werde zukünftig vielleicht die Strecken per Google Maps Link einbinden. Wie gefällt dir die Speed Twin? Ich habe die Thruxton diesen Winter leider verkauft, um wieder Platz für was neues zu machen, war ein super Moped! Für kommende Saison bin ich noch unschlüssig, vielleicht Scrambler 1200 XC, vielleicht Tuono oder Speed Triple.
@@thruxtonadventures4847, die Speed Twin habe ich mir in 2019 zugelegt, weil ich etwas klassisch gediegenes mit guten Sound und schöner Optik zum angemessenen Preis wollte. Ich habe sie in schwarz bestellt und mit wenigen blauen Zurüstteilen versehen. Sie ist zuverlässig und fährt sich toll. Als Alternativen habe ich nach eine Kawa von 1973 (Zweitakter, drei Zylinder und richtig laut) und eine 2007 Yamaha 600. Wenn ich mal in Österreich unterwegs sein kann, werde ich mal deine Touren versuchen. Beste Grüße, Frank
