Phily is another example of why math education is so important. Thinking everything has to be 50/50 is so retarded, and it stems from not passing ratio class in math. People don't understand basic concepts in statistics.
I threw Tea over my head at the Berlin Marathon in 2019 😅 i think i lost my mind.
Great pod/show
Yes football is objectively atrocious in terms of brain damage. The data is CRYSTAL CLEAR. It should be banned for anyone under 18 years old. After that, let people hurt themselves if they want.
Shoes still matter quite a bit, especially when something like the Alphafly is very different from all the other shoes (and it sold out before everyone who wanted a pair could get them) and the Evos aren't available.
Matt and Lindsay - please watch Barbie ASAP! LOL!
Absolutely love Phily and her channel and have followed her from the start of her You Tube journey. An absolute bundle of positivity and a true inspiration ❤
Great interview and really interesting to hear from her, esp the athlete/content creator balance. Go smash it in Houston! Btw the bottles Philly is talking about are squeeze wash bottles, which are often for lab use. If these specific ones are for lab use, the plastic shouldn't leak any chemicals into the liquid, but I wouldn't bet on it. During racing it's probably fine but I wouldn't use them during training
Has she been selected to represent her country in any events this year? Or any events?
Hi iwish you well with your marathons been running for 6 years march best thing I done idid amserdam marathon last oct 23 amanzing going to do 13 mile this morning
Love the Grind ❤❤
I was going to wear my Love the Grind shirt for the interview but thought it might be a bit too much
I absolutely love Phily and her partner and their UA-cam channels. Thank you for this interview. ❤
The best on UA-cam, absolutely love Phily and Daniel. Great podcast, good luck for Houston Phily and Ko
Good luck, Philly, tomorrow in Houston!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Incredible interview. Sharing her story in what feels like such a genuine, relatable and natural way easily makes her one of the best professional athletes to follow.
it's been such a pleasure to follow her story
Just now getting to these Relay pods. Really enjoying them. Good work, Tommie and Ko!
Why isn't Mike wearing his "Love the Grind" Phily merch t-shirt???
I didn't want to be too much of a fanboy
Love this Philly and Daniel currently live down the road from me (20 minute drive ) I follow both so it was cool seeing on this.
if you want anything to do with goggin get off social media and stop peacocking. The more you talk about him the less you understand what he's trying to preach.
Tommy's take on David Goggins's advice is spot on.
2024... year of editing. Great episode!
Why does Kofuzi always look annoyed on these podcasts? You are like slightly rolling your eyes. It is funny!
I ran both marathon also, and lost to CJ on both obviously, but I did the Baja marathon 6 min more than CIM even though Mexicali is super flat it’s just a bridge that is like 25 feet and short 🤷🏻♂️. So for him to do that was spectacular but he did had to fight for it with a 🇰🇪 runner. And I think that he also saw the prize money involved for getting the course record (wish he did). So I bet he put all that on the balance to give it a try. Great talk guys
I feel so validated by the hiking convo. 😂 It’s so boring. Tree, tree, etc.
LOL! Nailed it. "Tree, tree, tree" 😂
I really enjoy Emily's content. She's certainly a lot faster than me, but I do appreciate a real sorta "middle-pack" runner that has a similarly high-stress career.
we need more !!!
I would say if you want to do NY...you should just go into it with 0 expectations! If you want to PR - go to a smaller race.
Very enjoyable to listen to, I listen to the podcast version on my run today. The end gets cut off on this UA-cam version, the podcast goes to a full hour.
Oh gosh, thank you for the heads up! I should have double checked the time - my bad. I’ll see if I can upload the full 60 minute version
Don't ever stop your good morning intro Emily!! We love it in our house!!
I’ll never stop!!
I’m unfamiliar with Tommie .. is he only on Instagram ?? This interview was wonderful. I watch a lot of Ko, and Emily
Another fun conversation with my favorite influencers! ❤🙌🏽
Fun episode! Learned a lot. Love you guys 😊
Thanks for doing this. I'm a lady runner who watches lots of male UA-cam and find your channel very refreshing.
Great interview!

Great podcast, gentlemen. I think next time you can go full Rich Rollian , over 3 hours. Forget sub 3. Super 3?
Such a good podcast, excided for more to come out and it is so cool to hear Dr. Josh being mentioned since we grew up in the same town and i went to school with him, it is awesome to see him succeed. Keep up the awesome work.
