I am curious. If they did go with Twilight being a scientist instead of a princess, how would the theme of friendship still be tied into that? Being a princess means Twilight can spread friendship to everyone. As a scientist, how can a scientist spread friendship? There is that delicate balance of stopping her from coming off as relapsing into being anti-social if going the scientist route. I know you said Sci-Twi had a scientist side, but how much of that do you see after Friendship Games? The implication being as she got actual friends, she didn't need to become a reclusive scientist anymore.

Ok the main reason belos should be redeemed is the fact that he could be right about the boiling isles, something he hated in the past that is still alive and kicking. The reason why he died because the show is rushed. Speaking of, since Disney+ confirmed the owl house show to be a Halloween project, why not in a new series before the timeskip, introduce demons and evil witches. Sure you would think belos is similar to sentinel prime in tf one but no that was different same could be said for bill cipher and the core. Also just because we don’t know his story yet that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get to be redeemed that’s stupid (only some people) Sure he killed his brother- by accident. Why would he kill his brother for no reason?

Okay, I personally really Lego movie 2. I understand some of your criticisms, but I still love it. I slightly (0.01%) prefer it over the first one because I really relate to Finn and Bianca. While i think the 1st one had better humor and development of side characters etc.. Imo the 2nd one had more relatable messages and themes. I think the many tiny messages it talks about are a lot more poignant than the one in the first one. I remember being young and like Bianca wanting to play with my older sibling, but they wouldn't let me, because they, like Finn, thought I would ruin everything. Then I got a younger sibling, and I became Finn as they wanted to play with me, and I wouldn't let them because they wouldn't play the way I wanted to. The systarians being bad at communicating is representing the sister being bad at communicating she wants to play with her brother. It makes sense as siblings aren't great at communicating with one another, and the lego characters/Bianca is aware of that. General Mayhem(Bianca) tried wearing a mask and talking tough as she thought it was the only way to get Finn to listen. It isn't until the end when the mask/helmet comes off and she openly talks to them that Wyldstyle believes her, which is a point of the movie that being "tough" in that way isnt truly tough, but by opening up yourself/being vulnerable and kind can anything truly work out. The Queens song "Not Evil" is essentially the sister saying, "Please let me play with you. I promise I won't mess anything up" and giving Finns lego some stuff as an apology and gesture of peace, and Finn not trusting her or giving her a chance. Emmet's world is a representation of the brother's imagination, and to him, his annoying sister is the embodiment of evil, but all she wants to do is play. It being a musical made sense. Biancas like 8 or 9 years old and girls at that age love catchy pop music so of course it would be incorporated into her lego world as part of the movie is Biancas storytelling/perspective. Lord Business, being the Dad IRL, leaving as soon as the kids were fighting and returning as soon as they calmed down seemed like such a Dad thing to do! Overall this movie had a lot if touching moments like Watevra Wa'nabi is just the gift/heart that Finn gave to Bianca, and Bianca cherished it so much she built her entire playworld around that gift. And naming her Watevra Wa'nabi because when Finn gave Bianca the heart, he said it could be "whatever you want it to be," and her being little, she took it literally. It also shows how much she looks up to her brother. The 'Everything's not awesome that's an unrealisitc expectation' is heavy and true The movie doesn't have a bad guy. Rex is the 'villain', but unlike most other main characters, he doesn't represent someone in the real world. Rather, he is an ideollogy of toughening up from what a 13 year old boy thinks is cool and mature. And how you want to grow up. I liked the real-world portions. I didn't feel there were too many as the ones shown were just progressing the story. Also we know from the first movie, that it takes place in the real world and everything is just Finns imagination, I liked that they incorporated that as you can't just ignore it until the end like they did in the first movie because it's not a twist anymore. They know we know this, so just use it. Theres a cinemawins video of how great this movie is and explains whats happening and its themes further.

Hello @Andres McReviewer, funny that you mentioned the Great Devourer as the list of villains that should have been used instead of Meowthra, there is a concept art book I have about the Lego Ninjago Movie and the original idea for the story was about the ninja time traveling in the past and for Lloyd to prevent his father from being evil also the main villain would have been the Great Devourer and instead of those fish costume guys being the evil army it would have been the serpentine. Also there were also other concept art showing the other ninja’s lives and not really focus on Lloyd too much and there was going to be a side love story of Jay and Nya. You can see a video of it from a UA-cam channel called DuckBricks. Also keep up the great work. 😊

To me, one of the biggest issues with the Ninjago Movie is how it barely feels like Ninjago. I'm not saying it had to have been one-to-one, but still.

Good. Fuck that film and all the other lifeless live-action Disney remakes. Can't wait for Sonic 3 to destroy that generic trash that will be Mufasa! Live-Action Disney remakes haven't been doing as good as of late as The Little Mermaid didn't perform well and I have no doubt Mufasa is gonna do poorly. Audiences are finally waking up realizing the lifeless carbon copies they are and hopefully convince Disney to stop making them because if people wanna watch them, they can just watch the original animated films.

Also for the criticism on that Triple Pony Dare short for Applejack's hat, they've never been consistent on if Applejack's hat really is from her dead parents. Made in Manehatten had Applejack's hat ruined and she didn't give much of a crap then. Somepony to Watch Over Me showed Applejack has a closet full of identical looking hats. In a Hot Minute interview, Applejack mentions getting her hat from a fair.

Guessing between Regular Show, MLP, and Adventure Time, was Adventure Time the one that remained the most consistent to the end among the big 3 story driven long runner cartoons from 2010? Granted I know people give the second half of season 5 and 6 flak and are seen as low points but still. Dunno if the 2017 movie would be that good as a finale. It's a good stand alone story sure, but not exactly finale material. Like, a lot of prominent characters are absent in this like Discord, Starlight, Shining Armor, the CMC, and Flurry Heart plus Applejack and Fluttershy barely did much in that movie at all, not exactly the best for a finale.

"She acts like a typical teenage girl" exactly why I prefer s1 Molly! In season 2, Molly acts like a dumbed down version of a boy-crazy, bratty adolescent who has a lack of innocence, and so much attitude most healthy 13 year olds don't have. I found her intolerable imo.

I totally respect your opinion but here are some corrections on your claim: Animation: They had to move studios because of budgeting. I do think the animation is less fluid than season 1 and there are a lot more errors but It's still very interesting to look at. Characters: It's not that Wander puts himself in danger it's just he seen villains just as bad as Dominator before so him being naive to things that can end his life isn't something out of character, at least Wander hasn't gone back to his needy arc explained in the box and the helper. Peepers was originally supposed to move sides from Hater to Dominator because he is confirmed to be more evil than Hater, so it's not like Peepers arc doesn't make sense. Narrative: Wander Over Yonder was originally serialized, Having season 1 being about Wander and Sylvia getting to like each other but Disney wanted them to around be friends so that's why most of season 1 is episodic with a few plot points. Overall I like your take on the season, I did see much people analyze this season much because they praise it for being the storydriven season. I still love the fact it being storydriven, continuing from season 2 on (If we had season 3) Because in season 1 we get to know the characters and in season 2 we finally get to see our characters in challenging situations that they can't handle alone. GOD DAMN I love this show

For Green Goblin, he should have 5 round of boss fights and should be like one of them (pick a route): - 616 Green Goblin for all rounds. First he beats Miles and either out him in a comma or captured, then Peter fights and won for the first time and tries to find out who Green Goblin is. The fights Venom and Venom also loses. Then sometime before Peter's second round, Norman finds out Peter's Spider Man and hurts MJ badly and MJ spends most of the runtime in a comma. Peter fights him round 2. The in the third round, is should be Miles, then Venom and Peter finishes Green Goblin off. - Green Goblin starts with 616 design and attacks Miles either captures or comma. Then Peter defeats him. Round 2 would be Ultimate Green Goblin and Venom would fight him but loses. Then same thing like I said for the previous point, Peter finishing him off round 2&3. - Green Goblin 616 design, attacks Miles, Miles gets captured or comma then Peter defeats him. Green Goblin somehow gets the Carnage symbiote and fights Venom but Venom loses and then same thing as the previous points, Peter finishes the job round 2&3.
