Question you mentioned that once you obtained your ideal seed/trainer card ID you can then attempt to to soft reset at starter selection to run through encounters for a shiny starter since the glitch does not work for them? How exactly do you do this? Do you save the game before starter selection and soft reset from there? Please and thank you

I am having trouble with the eon timer

This is very informative. I want to start getting shinies left and right (after I gotten a shiny that I couldn’t catch in Soul Silver, somehow, within a few encounters. Heck, I would’ve been able to get a shiny starter if I so chosen with that luck in no time, but the game decided against it) Anyways, I just need to do step one, acquire a cute charm abilitied Pokémon, then the fun will begin. I’ll rewatch this video so I know that I’m doing the Cute Charm Glitch correctly, but until then, this has been some random person on the internet, signing off

I got the correct target delay as the delay hit but not the correct trainer ID (I'm aiming for the same as yours), does that mean I fucked it up somewhere in the setup process? Or does the target delay not matter beyond the setup for the first attempt? I keep getting the same few IDs but none are the correct one lol (edit: nvm yes I did use the wrong time in setup lol, got it on my 4th try once I caught and fixed it)
