We've seen Improvement Kata work in manufacturing, the medical field, the office, and recently in the education system. Why not at home? I set out a couple years back to have my 4 kids start practicing to improve processes around the house. My kids now look at things in a different way than before. They are starting to look at problems as opportunities and enjoy what they are learning through the practice of this scientific approach to overcoming the road blocks they come up against.
