Tai Chi is a form of moving meditation. There is internal work as well as external work. This complete form can take from 5 - 15 mins. Slowly, slowly means quickly! And it can be more difficult to do the form slowly. Try to learn the form first to be able to concentrate on the internal work. This is when qi circulates in your body, when energies from all the directions are absorbed into your sy...

Hi! Thinking that Tai Chi practices has to much to do with water (the Yin element) and with harmony with the natural enviroment, I have a tendence to do this practice clockwise direction in south emisphere, because of the Coriollis effect that make/explains the swirl of water on counterclock on northern emisphere and clockwise direction on southern emisphere. And about of face north or south star (that, if we have it is not possible to see with naked eyes), even that we do not have a south polar star.

I've been practicing Silat and Escrima since 1993 and Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi since 2008. I like practicing slow twisting and circling steps with blades. It nourishes my brain and I circulate my chi to stay healthy and massage my internal organs to stay soft and limber. The first thing I would teach someone is how to relax and root and circulate Qi. After relaxing, someone can learn basic Gong Fu!

@@johnbishop9000 ..... i see beautiful beeings washing dishes, driving cars, eating burgers, playing cards. Bodies are not ment to die. Dealing with Illusions brings you getting old and die. Mantak did not want to do regular work for living. So he selt books about exercices which should keep your bodies young and alive. In order to have money for living and to practice all day long. But now he has to face his Illusion about the sense of these exercice. Anyway at last the human body is not ment to die. He is ment to heal and to transform with our mind together ......

@domdachs6073 everything in the physical universe is born to die, that is the very essence of its nature, everything is as a river flowing in constant transition, not to see this is to be in illusion. When did Master Mantak Chia tell you such things, or are they your assumptions? If you don't like the guy, fine, then leave alone and go and do your own thing. Your negativity serves no purpose other than to harm yourself . May you learn to let go and let be.

I saw him do this form on a while square surface with the cardinal directions marked on a circle in the early to mid 1980s. It was hard to take him seriously when he said he invented this shortened form because he sometimes forgot the long form if he didn't practice every day.

He's mainly a Qi Gong grandmaster, not a Taichi master. He has no martial skills. That said, old Taichi masters' forms often look off because they do their forms exclusively energetically. Beautiful forms are often mostly external, and wrong energetically.

@luisr.4930 Tai Chi is not simply a martial art, but rather Thee Martial Art, all others find the roots in and where they spring from. The purpose of Tai Chi is unification in harmony of yin-Yang to be able to return to the source, the Tao, the self defence aspect is a side line, it is the art of not fighting, yet should a fight start, they who stsrted have already lost, for they who make the first move reveal their weakness they will be conquered by.

Feeling and thinking (consciousness) are quantum states. In individual thinking, feeling and acting (beliefs), a quantum field with indirect equality is emitted, In collective action, feeling and thinking, a quantum field with direct equality is emitted. Drawn from emotional unification.

This is a criminal misuse of the word, "quantum". I've been doing this stuff for 35 years, and you are way overthinking this. The core secrets of qi is nothing more than elementary school science experiments with electromagnetism. Wires, a nail, and a nine volt battery stuff. Grow a bigger voltage, grow a bigger life force, all courtesy of the human CNS. The rest is practice.
