I had a mix breed dog over 50 years ago. I’ve always wondered what he came from. Now after seeing these fantastic animals I can safely say he was part Irish Wolfhound. He was the sweetest most gentle dog I’ve ever known. Everyone thought he was an alien. I still miss him.

I had a Istrian/Pitbull mix years ago. She was so much fun and entertaining. One time I found her sunbathing belly up in a lounge chair on the back deck. The pitbull, unfortunately, is the most cross bread (is that a word?) dog on the planet. So there are a lot of variants out there. You might get lucky and find the best dog you've ever had with a pit mix. Dont let their bad rep turn you away. They are very affectionate and fear NOTHING.

We just got one. I was shocked how big this breed is. They may not weigh as big as they appear, but they are substantial in size. They have to be one of the nicest, easy going breeds. Pure joy to work with.
