After a long, insanely fun day of pit bike racing, this was the main event. Loyal left it all out on the track! I'm #115 on a Yamaha with a blue helmet, August is #39 on a Suzuki. Loyal lapped me 2 or 3 times in this 20-lap race on his modded bike, but I got him back once when he tipped over toward the end. So much fun!

Thought I was done with stalling on the gate nonsense. Oh well! Honestly, I wasn't mad to be away from all the carnage. Had fun making some passes before I went full goober mode.

Tried a different setup for my chest mount. Thoughts? Went back to my normal setup for the rest of the day. C Class practice was so sketch. Track was absolutely packed. Took it very easy as this was my first time ever on this track.
HOT LAPS AT SUGAR RIVER RACEWAY

Unfortunately the GoPro battery ran out after this session. Bummed because me and Kev really turned it up and had some fun battles after this one. Joe is in the beige helmet and mom is in the high-viz helmet. Kev is in a black helmet but we're never particularly near each other. Sugar River rental karts are super fun and I'd recommend them to anyone.

Joe gave mom the business in our first session out on the track. Mom had the yellow high-viz helmet, I had the white helmet, and Kevin was in a black helmet.

Kev had the pace on me in this session but got a little too frisky trying to make a pass on the high-speed left at the end of the big straightaway.

Second last lap crash of the day while going for a pass. Gotta stop spazzing out. Getting better, though. Another nonsense start and bad speed on the first lap. Fun moto. Got a top 10 on the last moto of the day after this, but my external GoPro lens shatters from roost in this one and I didn't want to risk it. Bummer.
Man we use to do mini supermoto there! Miss that track.
Man this track looks fun. I need to try to get out to more MX races this year so we can battle.
@@WalterBrothersRacing heck yeah dude! Tbh I hated this track but I am sure it’s fun with more skill. The sand made the jump faces get sketchy and it was annoyingly narrow at a few points, but I’m sure it’d be fun with more practice. I only ever rode this track on race day, so that doesn’t help. Next year I do want to nut up and send that one monster jump. I think they call it “the Domain.” Def the biggest jump on the D16 circuit that I am aware of.
@clintkeaveny8700 yeah the ruts up the jump faces sketch me out a bit lol. Not getting much practice at other tracks is the main reason I've only raced Azzy.

Looks like fun! Is your front wandering a bit? I'm no pro, but if it is try softening your fork a bit to see if it helps.
Oh dude you’re totally right, I really should’ve. I almost never mess with my suspension settings but on a sandy track like this I bet that really would’ve helped.

Bad luck on the crash. What idiot thought it was a good idea to have concrete tuff-blocks on the edge of the track? Stupidity.
@@RacerRich78 I’d like to think they’re styrofoam blocks but I’m not sure that’s the case. Lots of sketchy stuff about this track and facility tbh. It’s basically falling into disrepair. The only reason there’s a race is because a track owner from the UP brings his crew and runs the whole thing.

I thought you had the plateau dialed my guy? Only three laps? Thanks for reminding me why I probably won’t race anymore. Some sketchy lines from other guys that you’re faster than.
Yeah I had it last year. Gotta get back on that for the May race for sure. Lots of sketchy lines everywhere. I gotta get better starts to stay ahead of the nonsense.
Nice riding! Your corners are very smooth. You do a great job of getting the bike to turn and you flow through the ruts very well.

Duuuude I’m so sorry to hear it, man. Did it go back in right away, or did you have to go to the hospital to get it put back in? Was total bullshit, I felt so bad as soon as I saw it happen. The other guy didn’t mean to, but that’s C class for ya sometimes. Knew I had to get past him and get away ASAP before the chaos caught me too.
@@clintkeaveny8700 I punched the ground and it went back in. Took some ibuprofen and raced my second motos, was a killer pain the next day though. Was my first race in 2 years since I had surgery for the same thing on my left side.
