This is now the third time UA-cam recommended the last video of a channel to me

Why am I being recommended your last video, when I didn't even know you guys existed, and I watch content like yours all the time???

Your failure to make UA-cam shorts is what killed your channel The algorithm buried you for it You should have used the shorts to attract people to your long form videos instead of just s******* on it because it's short form.

I'm just over 3 minutes in...and I was gonna skip this video because I thought the Farewell title was clickbait, then I came back to watch the video after I thought about it a minute. So, before I go 10 more minutes, and finish watching, I want to say why I paused... I think you said 1,100 subscribers, you now have 11.5k as I write this, you said.. Medieval Blacksmithing.. something I'm interested in ... and why oh why I haven't found you before, I don't know... maybe UA-cam got scared and now 10,000 more people showed up when they finally heard about you. Don't worry, some of us can easily sit through a 40 minute video to learn something, but I understand if you're concerned that maybe you lost people by not doing shorts. I admire that you choose not to and the reason why. Anyway, I subscribed. I'll be watching your other videos... after I complete this one. If in the future you change your mind...great...if not, good luck to you and whatever you do. 😊 Edit: I finished the video. They say, whoever they are, it takes two years to establish a good foothold and if you survive the first two years your business will thrive, it's the same if you start a business during an epidemic or crisis of some sort, like in a struggling economy...or from nothing, if you survive the crisis, you'll thrive. Over 1 month later, and this is still being recommend to people….note to self. If I ever start a UA-cam channel and need a following: post several videos, then title a video “FAREWELL” or something similar, then watch the subs and comments roll in. Rinse and repeat as meeded

This is so sad. I would have watched this channel like crazy, but youtube decided not to serve it up to me until they said goodbye. What a sad thing, seeing a channel end that deserved so much more.

I'm glad I found this video even though it's really too little too late (booo yutube). I don't have access to all the modern equipment, just a small anvil, some hammers, and a forge made of junk yard scrap. I'm glad I know this channel is here now and I have a chance to learn from you guys at all. Thanks
