It is the little bear to blanca traverse in Colorado. If you do it look for my camera at the 1/2 mile mark. It will be about 800 feet below you.

Man! You gotta be careful out there! 😲 that area’s weather is unpredictable, specially this time of the year. It got me once; there was no precipitation in the forecast, but then, all the sudden it got cloudy, windy, could hear thunder in the distance, so started to rush back, just to be caught in a hail storm 😵‍💫 and had no rain jacket with me, fortunately I was only like 4 miles from my car. Please carry a paper map with you 👍

Tuff it out dooooood...the great outdoors man! You'll survive, with a story to tell man! You a tuff guy aren't ya....or just for looks tattoos 😂

You can just see the sky becomes slightly darker as the videos goes on until it just pours!

Awesome Mike, it's good to learn those lessons early in your trip instead of a few days into one. This is when all the just in case scenarios come into play, and you end up with a 60lb pack. However, my only suggestions are a small GPS or app for your phone, that might be a worthwhile investment (just in case).😀 This was another good adventure, thanks for sharing.

Hi Mike, I had the same experience in Minnesota. I was up in the Boundary Waters with my son on a 3 night 4 day trip. Our 2nd campsite was on an island and I slept great. I came up with the same conclusion myself. Looking forward to your next video.
