You have to ground the turntable to the stereo. Do you have a third wire going from turntable to stereo?

Hi sir, I have sony str-de405 amfilaktör and sony ps-lx250 turntable. And I have JBL model 20T stereo. I have connected the two, however, it does not sound right. The cable is not good quality, but my turntable is new. The needle part is fine and when you listen closely it sounds fine. What do you think the problem is? If you could let me know that would be great😊

i have this model. bought it maybe 20 years ago with the stimulus check . was about $500.00. the remote quit working . i disassembled the cover and found small cracks in the circuit board going to the remote decoder . using a small solder gun i remelted the solder and now all fixed. excellant sound and base from the powered subwoofer.

Weak kenwood subwoofer. Mine behaves the same, and has a mind of its own. More often than not, the on-board relay doesn't "click" and no bass, even though the subwoofer's LED light is green.

Denon are no longer good components

I had this amp since 2008 or so and LOVED it - just recently replaced it with a Denon AVR-X2800 because the HDMI out port was acting up. I prefer the sound and day to day operation of the Onkyo FAR more than the Denon.
