Good choices for OLD school emulation, not so much for anything newer than PS1 and just about any of these new mini's will run the older games. Don't expect good emulation for any newer consoles from these, these are for easy to emulate games, anything even kind of hard to emulate will make these struggle.

Caps to prevent water damage to the motors is a non-issue, as brushless motors are waterproof (same motors used in RC boats and subs. As for dust issues, the rare time I encounter dustnados, I just wash out the motors with a garden hose (after all, they are waterproof) once I get home and let them air dry. The other issue for some is the added wait if you're operating a sub-250g drone.
