What kind of cage did you use to hang the chicken?
Mine took 15hours all in all I didn’t realise that the lid was hitting the top so not good. Was amazed that I had to put a handful of lump wood on after 13 hours.
Confused about about your statement that you added a “Handful of Lump Wood”?

Great video. My only concern might be the placement of the battery and inverter. I'd probably run a longer cable and tuck both under the table to spare them the heat put off by the smoker itself. Hot batteries are ☠️ 😳 ☠️

I did my spare ribs today first the first time. Taste and smoke was perfect. The ribs were not thick so I check and flipped at a 1/2 hour then at an hour foiled the ribs with butter, apple juice and bbq sauce for 40 minutes. I then tooked them out and added bbq sauce then 150* for 15 minutes. It was authentically perfect and tasty but just a little bit dry? Any recommendations?
Since I don't have a rack for my Ninja, what do you think would work better - putting it directly on the grill plate or inside the crisper basket? Thanks in advance!

I’m glad this go around went more smooth!!! I’ve always heard of Mince pie but have never gotten to try anything with “mince”. You did a great job rolling and slicing this super evenly. I wonder if you had tucked each slice tightly into a pie shaped dish, if it would turn out like a super unique mince-type pie.

Good stuff Steve, I've been to Morocco 5 times and your food is spot on, I would use Harissa and Ras Al Hanout instead of one or two ingredients

How long did you wrap it in foil for?
There’s no specific time for the wrap, it I would wrap fora minimum of 45 minutes. If you are leaving it longer wrap in foil, then wrap in a towel. This will be good for around 4 hours. Hope this helps.

Some folks are fooled by this but you can't fool me. Those sausages weren't bratwurst in the German sense but just some sausages from your local butcher. Germans don't eat a bratwurst with sauerkraut and cheese but with mustard and either with a bread roll or French fries (or pommes as the Germans call them). The moment you put any kind of ketchup, ideally curry ketchup, on it then it isn't a bratwurst anymore but becomes a currywurst.
Nothing gets past you, thanks for your input. I did say it was my version and what I would like to eat rather than a Bratwurst in a Bread Roll.
@DutchyOutdoorCookingBBQ you don't eat the bratwurst in a bread roll, the bratwurst goes in one hand and the bread roll in the other so to speak. If you want a decent sausage go to a Polish shop , surely there is one near you.

@DutchyOutdoorCookingBBQ I don't know as I don't speak polish but they speak pretty good English and I also use my finger to tell them what I would like. They normally have a fairly big selection, well the two shops I go to anyway

Can you make a product that fits inside the oven to replace the stone? A A36 pizza steel that's 1/4 or even 1/2 inch thick would be terrific. Having it sit inside by itself like the stone would be great too.
I have looked at this. the maximum would be 3/8 steel.

@@DutchyOutdoorCookingBBQ hmm...30 mins a 370 it was still only 30 degrees in the middle...ended up cooking it for about 50 mins which dried it out more than i wanted. still tasted really good and we eat it all anyway!! might try sous vide first next time then blast it...any thoughts?
Hi Kevin, oh, could have sliced the out side off like they do it takeaway and keep cooking. Not sure about Sous Vide as I never tried it.

Love it Steve, one thing I miss in Canada is the kebab shop, we have lots that do chicken shawarma (Ottawa is apparently the shawarma capital of Canada) but I love a good lamb doner, in fact the best one I had was from the kebab shop in Ripley. I still want the Woodfire. Thanks Steve
