I’ve done the research, the fuel economy is almost identical to the V6. The maintenance is easier on the 4 cyl., they both have the reputation for being bulletproof, but for applications like yours, this truck is perfect. You will have hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles, with just basic oil changes every 3-5,000 miles, (DONT DO THE 10,000), what a great little truck!!!

You should install a catalytic shield. It cost me $400 but it's worth the peace of mind.

It's a beautiful firearm. Congratulations. To answer your question, the California version has the manual safety, a magazine disconnect, only coms in black, has a loaded chamber indicator, and is restricted to ten rounds. If you pay an armorer to replace your grip to something like coyote brown then you can remove the safety and the magazine disconnect. If you install an optic you can remove the loaded chamber indicator. At that point it would be exactly the same as any other free state except we can't buy the standard capacity magazines.
