I have this seat. I did 2 hours on it today and I barely started getting butt pain. I’d say it’s good for up a 3 hour ride. There is also a cheap Amazon backrest that works on it as well. If that’s something you need.

mine seems to need a 4.5mm allen... 5 is too large, 4 is too small.... I nhave never even used one of those.

I have been looking at so many seats for my 15 SGS mainly for my passenger comfort. I think you convinced me to get one. I'm 6' and my stock seat is perfect for height at legs. I did add the extended floor boards and controls so that helped alot. I can't ride without my backrest that's a game changer.

I am just seeing this video. I have myself a 2017 ultra limited. I will check these. When i get home. Also, i noticed that you have a carolina hat on. To me. That means that you must live some where in South Carolina. If you do. I do, too.

Do you find that sitting lower reduces the wind buffering? my SG ST came with a 2 up tourer seat, no solo stock seat. I found it too high, so I bought a saddlemen dominator solo with the added pillion seat..I feel it still might be too high even after changing the wind shield to a 5 inch freedom shield. I've ordered an 8 inch higher screen hoping this might reduce the wind buffering...next step is trying to find a suitable lower seat. frustrating. cheers from new Zealand.

Im going to be replacing and 08 street Bob odometer. Do I have to transfer the milage over and ride for 31.1 miles to “marry” it to the bike? Or is it just play and play and it will display the bike’s milage??

me and my girlfriend have this seat on both our street glides and we find it very comfortable. 250 300 mile day in the seat it is comfortable. probably not so much 400-500 miles days. but very good seat low profile look and decent price!!

Loved mine on my 2017 Limited so much that i had 35k miles on when i traded it in... ordered one immediately for my new to me 2007 Road King. Right after bars and suspension... a good seat like the hammock changes everything for me.

I just picked up a street glide with this seat on it. It also came with the passenger seat attachment as well. Definitely a short to medium trip seat. Looks good. The passenger seat seems pretty good as well.

The oil should be a touch low. The oil pressure with it on is different. Full will cause oil seepage. Nice bike. Thanks for the tip on the bags. I checked. Mine are tight. Lol.

Those of you who haven’t tried or have the ASR seat are missing out! The factory seat from Harley that came on my SGST is junk! I tried the Sundowner. Junk! 3rd time lucky with the ASR! There is nothing not to like about this seat!

I've tried so many seats, was disappointed and wasted thousands of dollars. I've tried Mustang, Saddlemen, Ultimate, Corbin, Road Zeppelin which I expected to like, I did not. I felt very comfortable, even on long rides on the stock seat of my 2018 Road Glide Ultra when I first bought it, but the comfort didn't last long. I have been using the Harley Hammock seat with a Pro Pad SuprCruzr Sheepskin gel cushion on top, and that combination has worked better for me than anything else.

I know a few people who lost their saddlebags with the OEM fastener. I switched to the Rick Rak fasteners with the detents. Never had an issue with them. The most important thing to check is the chain tensioner on the primary. Get rid of that get a self adjusting chain adjuster.

I've got the Lepera on my FLHX. I really like the look of a solo on a SG.

I buy a 2 pack of batteries and keep them in my saddle bag. Used one on myself and helped a stranded biker last year with them.

I’ve never changed mine on my 14 glide. But I rarely touch the screen I’ve always used the buttons. Still looking new.

I had a friend do his with rhino liner. Pretty dope, I might do that myself.

Same here. I lost a saddlebag and was given the bolts in 2017, I wasn't aware they came out with a new lock. Great video.

I know this video is 2yrs old. I bought my 2014 Street Glide new in 2014. The saddle bag clips were recalled, Harley replaced mine for free. The saddle bag clips were much longer and locks in. (I had a lot of friends, their bags fell off.) The MOST important thing to check is the hydraulic clutch. It was recalled and Harley fixed mine at no charge as well. So if you bought a new Street Glide and don't know if it was upgraded, take to the Harley Dealership.

Dealership's are closing due loss in sales. When you try to lie to,bully and intimate and plain straight rip off customers off. So sad. I'm a new rider and have dreamed of buying a Harley for years. Now at this point in my life am able to do this. After my recent dealings with my local dealership I'm now thinking anything but Harley.

A lot of dealerships are going to close. Manufacturers are going to shift to directly selling anyway. Look at the way vehicles are sold now anyway. Nothing on the lot you have to order and peopke no longer are dealer loyal they shop around to get the deal travelling hours to get a deal

My stock seat gives me a throbbing erection after 30 mins of riding. Im 84. My seat is a keeper.

Mine had a extra wire I could not detach also be careful not to detach the gas tank vent hose which I did luckily you video showed me to detach it saying it attached in your video

Harley pays 8$ for them seats. I bought the hammock before knowing the foam is cheap and will break down pretty quickly

In addition to changing your battery in the FOB, change/set your security PIN on the bike. I have bought two bikes now that had the factory default PIN set. That means anyone who knows the default PIN can walk up to your bike without the FOB and start it and take off with it.

I have a '21 RG and the stock seat is terrible. Just bought the hammock last weekend and what a freaking difference for me and my wife. COMFORTABLE... Well worth the $610 I paid.
