I have a bunch of their brushless stuff, it's old gem Dewalt stuff in red and works pretty good. Have not had anything break on me, everything works good, feels good in the hand, affordable, and so far gets the job done well.

I work at cnc shop where all power tools are milwakee...They all have the battery falling off😂😂 abolutely all of them have broken battery tabs😅😅 Perhaps there is more quality here and there, but definetly not on the plastic... So, for me, ryoby cheap and cheesy while milwakee expensive and cheesy

I liked Ryobi until my 3 year old battery crapped out, then my 6 month old fan burned out and I had to jump through so many hoops for warranty that it soured me on their tools. Went with DeWalt and haven't had a problem since.

Ryobi is a brand for home owners that do smaller projects. They are solid tools that will last and are more convenient than corded tools. The main difference between them and Milwaukee is when it comes to power and in that department it isnt even close. For instance some days i drive 200 fasteners into metal studs in a commercial new construction, if Milwaukee can drive that fasteners twice as fast it saves significant time. There’s a reason union shops in US almost exclusively use Milwaukee, hilti or dewalt with makita sprinkled in and its to save time when someone is carrying that tool for 2100 hours a year
