New grenade jump on dark
A pretty easy nade jump to both save time and skip the enemy spawn trigger for the MG nest.

Frame perfect(?) trick that allows you to load your character at a different position during the cutscene. Save just when the cutscene starts.

Just a bit of showcase of some new tricks letting you do some fun things on SFM. Might lead to some really interesting strategies in the future if better techniques are found on how to enter the scientist area faster. Sorry for the mumbling and slow talking. A bit tired after work lol.

I know some would like to know how to clear dark when speedrunning. Here is one way. Also explaining a bit why the lightning strike sometimes won't appear.
Crypt 1 New Gate Block Strat

Just an addition to the gate blocking strategy so it is possible to take care of all(?) spawns. The quicksave-quickload makes him rise right away and makes him able to block the gate. If you pull the lever too fast he won't we able to block, which is why I do the jump timing thing.

Just a short vid of a new strategy I will be using for my runs. The old way was just too difficult to do and the run would almost be dead if I didn't make it. This is a bit of a compromise with a slower time but way more easier to do. Sorry for the shitty audio, but I think I explain it well enough.

A decent attempt of a run with all the up to date strategies. The run was not much better than my old PB apart from the new routes. But this shows that a sub 44 run is not far away. A new route I recently found for xlabs which provides a huge time skip. It is probably not optimized, but this video shows off the technique I am using to do this compared to the old route.

Finally made a decent run with the new routes. An extremely bad start where I can save probably about 30 seconds in just the first chapter. Bad boss2, dam and a shitty dark where I can probably gain easily about 40-50 seconds. Expect a sub 45 minute run soon! :D www.twitch.tv/hoyo_csgo

Managed to get a new time below 47 min. Still with huge obvious timelosses which can be estimated to be 1 min which makes sub 46 min possible with new routes. Note that this is a Real time run in one segment.

I dont understand why speed runners shoot the ground on part 7, the defiled church with a mauser rifle
It's because the enemies will hear it and they will be close to the door when you enter the church, easier to shoot them.
