Cool video.. I liked your photos and subscribed :). So you did say that you did not have to really care much or that the camera really did not make the process much different.. Yeah but.. I have to say that I have a lot of cameras and even if its nice to grab a point and shoot and just snap off a roll of 36 shots its just ehhh.. Now when I grab the most oldest or primitive camera I have like my 70 year old pre war Exakta cameras or my old pentax spotmatic 500 that I actually serviced myself... There is just something about the older gear and the mechanics in the older gear without batteries and just gears and springs .. Or even older with a couple of spools and special light tight black shutter cloths that spool across the film plane lol. The older and more primitive cameras I use the more fun I have trying to get decent or different results from such old gear :). I find the process just that much more rewarding and enjoyable using gear that I have serviced myself and know how the camera is actually working .. Now I did not just spend days taking my time to find good shots and compose the photos but I also shot those photos on a camera I fixed up and calibrated myself AND after the fact developed the film as well as scan and edit them and share with friends.. That is something that digital lacks. :). Great content and I look forward to seeing you shoot more film

5 rolls of 35mm film £85 (Porta 400). I’m going to sell all my film cameras and move to digital. Why the film prices are bonkers?

It's all about the aesthetic and loving the process. Yes, film is getting expensive but it's all about volume. more people shoot film and prices will start dropping. There are a lot of new companies making cheaper film. Also consider the cost of digital cameras vs used mechanical film cameras.

As you know i have one leg in both worlds.....digital and analogue.. There is something special about the film look and i love the sharp grain.. BTW does the meter on yr Rollei work?

Yes it does. I just find the spot meter more accurate and it gives me the ability to play around with the zone system so trust it more.
