Loved this. Thrifting gifts is really personable and the items are often of much higher quality. Instead of wrapping paper, I like to buy a thrifted fabric like a nice scarf, to wrap gifts with. Gentlewhispering has a video on this called Fabulous Fabrics

I am so excited for Christmas this year too! My son is 4 this year and my daughter will be 7 months old. It always feels so magical with little kids. We started our elf on a shelf this year and it has been so exciting each morning! I’m jealous of your snow fall! I can’t wait for it to snow here too

What a great classics haul! The beautiful boots were a great find! They would pair well with just about anything in the winter. How much snow did you get? We had a dusting at the end of October here in NH, but it quickly melted away. There's always something so magical about the first snow. My favorite piece was the Alpine sweater with embroidered daisies! One of my favorite flowers! And I think I had a poncho just like the one you found in the early 70's! I'm now 63, but I remember : )
