If your not gonna do competitive games I highly recommend using Primaris assault intercessors with the extra weapon options of the original DC marines and of course the jump packs. I did only no helmet’s besides sergeants or chaplains which all use a chaplain skull helmet or a reaver helmet. The war gear for my death company are always infernos pistols and chainswords for some great charge and shoots at half range for so much damage. My normal assault intercessors use the new bolt pistol, which looks way better in my opinion, and for normal dudes is just better the elite weapon options should no matter what stay on the actual DC. Otherwise it would be a total cheat which makes the game just boring.

Ha, I'm doing the exact same thing, but with the original metal 2nd edition models (built with some of the later plastic bits). Just finished painting my (all primaris army) Black Templars assault intercessors and realised how well the colour scheme would work with Death Company (my favourite unit from back in the day). I just happened to have an almost complete squad of original lead minis in a box, along with Tycho (which I'll paint as Tycho The Lost) and picked up the remaining chaplain and beakie off of Ebay. Now I've decided I want to go for a full Death Company battle force so the original Chaplain Lemartes and another 10 metals are on their way to build into a jump pack squad. I want a rhino for my foot sloggers, a nice smash captain build and the dreadnought and I think it's done...tempted by a couple of extra units of bolter marines though :p

Wow this is the first video I've found were I don't get bored. One of the problems 40k games have, is they can last a long time. I have an Imp guard force about the same size as yours, a lemen russ, 3 infantry squads, a commisar, a command squad, a heavy weapons team and a sentinel. I have only recently gotten into the boardgame aspect of 40k and they are all gifts from family. Also good video

Nice models man, distinctive while still fitting well with the Cadian aesthetic. Having that second weapons team guy as a separate model is *such* a good idea. I'm planning to use those Maxim guns for my Kriegers' Heavy Bolters; will definitely do the same so they don't devour all my kneeling models.

I found 10 old tactical marines and 5 genestealers at a yard sale all mixed up in a bin full of old mcdonalds toys. I got them all for 15 US. The mystery is why they all painted with contrasts but seemingly long abandoned.

Nice Regiment friend funny thing my Regiment is the Vigilant Guard 265th Panzer Grenadiers Regiment though they don't have any German helmets but still the name sounds cool still great video friend as always.

So you let the armor grey ? Didnt do nothing to it ? Not even hightlight and shadow ? In the video they look lighter, and there isnt look like there is a lighter hightlight. I imagine the light makes a lot but some models really seem to been highlighted.
