Sinéad discusses in detail how her son Daniel who has a severe intellectual disability is the genesis for her running. After injury forced her to stop her sport, Sinéad began a recovery journey in which she gained a deeper and much needed understanding of herself and the importance of her own wellbeing as a person within her role as a carer.
