So cool to read the other coaches comments and see or read how highly they hold you and your video performance, I know GoPro ANZ felt the same way and loved your video and had it right up there with Zoee and Luna's GoPro edits. For me and from a coaching pov i love seeing the airs and progressive surfing and those backhand whips are the foundation of so much more and all of us look forward to watching that develop, bigger waves and progressive airs and the rest will be easy for you. Congrats to dad too, he always does amazing work and makes me wnat to go there and then I realise I live there with you and it makes me smile.

Killing it Skai! For starters, I have to say you carry some of the best energy out in the water. Keeping that good energy at all times will always translate into quality surfing. Positive attitude creates good communication with the central nervous system, which equates to your body mechanics working seamlessly together. Your GoPro entry is epic and I can't wait to see all your future surfing edits!!

Wow what a great Edit Skai, waves looked super fun and you were absolutely attacking it. First thing I noticed was that you blasted an backside air rev right off the bat and showed just how much flare you have on the wave face. You remind me of a young Molly Picklum who I first saw in a blast off event in Sydney. The way you push off the back foot and get your whole body driving through the turn is super similar and very impressive. Keep pushing your surfing and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

You obviously have been focussed these last 12 months Skai and have made dramatic improvement on the wave face with power but also and mostly in the air and adding that flare. When the clips of you riding that green coloured board that starts at 0.36 and goes for a few waves I felt something special in the speed and reaction time of that board underneath you, flaring out of the top too. Great video Skai and definite contender for overall champion of your age category and high performance week 5. Thank yeew again.

Amazing Edit!! I enjoyed a lot watching your video. I am sure you'll have an incredible career as surfer if you keep going with that high motivation. Stay healthy and focus Skai. You know what Skai I feel stuck for words after watching that video, I started thinking about your clean up vid and what a good spirited grom you are and then in this video you are absolutely ripping and showing how well rounded you really are, and then you GoPro edit is amazing too so great content you have delivered this year, I thought last year was great but this year you are surfing significantly better. I love the way you are attacking the lip on those first 4 forehand waves, a full on go for it approach from a young lady with ambition, thats what it made me feel so congratulations on bringing all of yourself to your surfing and lighting that video up right from the start. .And I really liked the individuality in the bottom turn at 0.28 great style and use of your body that created so much speed, look at the speed you have in and particularly out of the top turn, that all came from your bottom turn so whatever that felt like i would do more of it, looked great too. Thanks again for sharing your stoke for surfing with us all Skai, I dug it.

That was a really great video Skai, gotta love a double rainbow gift. I really liked the old school music with your new school action, the great shooting from dad and the edit made it all come together into something magic. GoPro are going to love this I know, thank you. From a coaching pov I see so much good, really thats all I see is good I really like your style, your technique is really good, your compression extension is good you start low and spring well, the only thing I would say is to experiment in pushing your upper body rotation a little more really be forceful and rotate with spring loaded power and that might find you more oomph to put out. Just keep your desire high and always find more to give and I can see great things ahead. Thanks again BL
