Porto Bay Falesia is a fantastic hotel in Faro, in the Algarve region in Portugal. In the not-peak season, prices do not kill and you sometimes see the sun. So did we and we tried to make the best of it.

No. A zone 2 ticket can't get you to Versailles. Only to Porte de Versailles (Versailles Gate).
Great video, thank you. This hotel is in Olhos D'Aqua which is 4km east of Albufeira and 4km west of Villamoura. It is not in near Faro about 30km away and takes 45 minutes away in a taxi.
Where are you watching from?
Did you change trains when you got to Reading? Or did you stay one the same train?
No changes, stayed on the same train. But I believe there are trains that take different stops.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of Paris buses?
You have to be more specific. I do not understand the question.
@@Weekend-Traveller I mean what are the pros and cons of taking the bus in Paris?
@@seungkim3829 well buses and metros have some difference in stops and route coverage. But for seeing the major attractions, you can use bus or metro. Sometimes bus can be a bad option due to heavy traffic. So you are perhaps sitting for 20 minutes which you could cover by metro in 5. But for metro you have to descend and ascend and cross gates etc. I usually check google maps and then take whicever works for me. Pickpocketing can happen anywhere. One common trick is 2-3 people coming to you. 1 keeps you busy asking for directions, and the other steals from your bag. So you gotta be careful. And no, its not just black people trying to scam you. Its also white people. Criminals come in all forms. So stay safe and enjoy your travels.
As a traveler from Germany, how do you get through these turnstiles on the platform at this train station with a ticket purchased online and stored digitally on your cell phone?
Hi, thanks for your question. Unfortunately I have not used this option and would not be able to give you much info. Perhaps you can get a physical ticket from the vending machines by showing your ticket. Or perhaps you can go to a counter on the station and ask them to give you a physical ticket. I do not recall seeing all stations with digital readers. I also checked the webiste (maratp.ratp.fr/categorie/mon-trajet/) but it was not very helpful. The people at the ticket counter are also not very fluent in English, so you may need to use google translate. And when speaking at the counter, remember that there are people around who are interested in your stuff. So watch out. Safe travels :)
From port to airport 8 km, not 15
Thank you Sir! I just checked google maps also, which shows about 6KM. So your calculations are more correct than mine. I apologize for the mistake.
Hello black ethiopian pharaoh. They’ll take egypt back for you soon sir.
who's they?
@@Weekend-Traveller Ethiopian blacks. Ethiopian built egypt when the other race was a neanderthal caveman in caucus mountains caves of europe. AL’LAT was worshipped first in arabia before allah. AL’LUZZA is the other arab name for the woman being worshipped. Kushite blacks to be exact. City of KUSH. You better learn that history man it’s huge. Just go google king tuts grandmother named ‘QUEEN TIYE’. See her afro and lips on that wooden bust. Only one exists. It’s a 8,000yr old selfie.

Nice update, my first train station in France, my wife use to go to worked for years! Salut!
Bro, enough with the negative opinions, it ruins an otherwise good video.
Hi Dave, why are you upset? You used the words "negative", and "opinion". Have you read British history of colonialism and meddling in the internal affairs all over the world? Why would you think this is an "opinion"?
@@Weekend-Traveller Britain ended slavery. Yet, it still exists from Mauritania to Somalia. Get real.
Next you are gonna say that Britain became rich by hard work lol
If you want to make political statements about ancient history then save it for a specialist post. Dont put it in any railway videos.
If you want to make your opinions about how a channel should be then save it for other channels. Dont put it in any railway video comments. Bye.
Bit a bit did it. Stick to trains chum it makes more sense than your commenting.@@Weekend-Traveller

GOOD video! Have a dumb question: Does the bus go around and around the same route - that is, does it turn around at the Terminus and trace back? THANKS
Yikes. Tough question. I am not sure mate. Sorry.
Ok @@Weekend-Traveller
Hey nice video! If i want to reach to somewhere and it takes 2 bus rides (need to transit), do we pay for 2 tickets or only one? Because in metro we only pay 1 ticket even though we are transit a lot as long as we don't leave the exit
Hi, thanks for your compliments. As far as I understand, bus is slightly different as you are technically taking 2 rides. In the metro, as long as you have not crossed the gates to leave the metro - you technically have a valid ticket. So for a 1-ride ticket, you use it to get in the bus or metro, and the ride is complete. Within the metro, when you leave through the gate, your ride is over. When you leave the bus, your ride is over. But as long as you have not left through the metro gates, your ticket should be valid. So in summary, 2 bus rides need 2 tickets.
Favorite places
Absolutely. Italy is amazing!
I went on the 8th of august till the 12th! It was really damn good. I stayed in albufeira, definitely would recommend. Nice video gonna sub!
You went on the right time :) Thanks for the sub. Helps our small channel a lot :) :)
I have a question, does the bus stop at all the bus stops or only if someone requests a stop by pressing the button?
Hi, usually it will not stop at all the bus stop points. Only when you press the stop button as a passenger, or when there is a passenger on the bus stand who will get on the bus.
Yes they have a button inside.
*promo sm*
HOW LONG DOES IT TO TAKE?
By train it should take around 1 hour. This is strictly travel time between 2 stations.
where do I go if I want to go towards the other direction of the metro line 4?
Hi, I am sorry I do not understand your question. I assume your starting point is Gare de l'Est. What is your destination?
@@Weekend-Traveller I want to go to Montparnasse, how do I know which direction to go, thank you!
@@poluki OK I put Montparnasse as the end point in Google maps and get the option to take metro 4. You have to get out of the station building (i.e. Gare de l'est). You go to your right just a little, and you see Bd de Strasbourg. You see a building with Burger King, and just beside Burger King there is a staircase that takes you underground. There is a sign that also says Metro. You have metro lines 4, 5 and 7 from here. You take the metro to Raspail. Get down at Raspail and get out of the metro. Montparnasse is very close.
Google Maps is usually very good to give you steps to go. There is a live maps option if you get lost. It will show you direction with arrows on a live map. You have to use your camera. Give it a shot.
Dude, where to buy that pass or ticket? This is like a vlog with no info at all
Hi, you can buy the tickets at the ticket desks and automatic vending machines in all RATP stations. Most metro stations have a ticket counter where you can buy them. The purpose of this video was to explain the bus network, hopefully. For the tickets, there are 2 types also. (1) Zone 1-3 : Paris centre (basically most of the tourist spots) (2) Zone 1-5 : Zone above, plus CSG/Orly airport and Versailles (probably a good deal if you arrive by flight) You can find details in the below link. www.ratp.fr/en/titres-et-tarifs/paris-visite-travel-pass#:~:text=You%20can%20purchase%20Paris%20Visite%20travel%20passes%20at,online%20with%20Parisjetaime.com%20and%20directly%20online%3A%20www.paris.opentour.com%20www.groundline.at
By the way, these tickets should also be available in the airport. Maybe not right in the airport, but in the train station which is connected to the airport. You can ask the tourist office for more info. I never went to Paris by flight, only by train. So I cannot speak for airport modus operandi.
is it possible to buy the ticket inside the bus or through an app? Because the bus station near us don’t have the machine
Super👍👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
do you know if this is operating in December ?
Hi, it seems they operate in December. I checked ferryhopper website, and dates in DEC are shown. Price remains around 15EUR, which has not changed from the time I visited. Safe travels :) www.ferryhopper.com/en/#results?itinerary=RRO%2CNAP00%2CRRO&dates=20231204%2C20231205

how much for a ticket?
Hi Peter, it was 15 EURO when I got them last year. Might have changed a little now. There is a website mention on 1 of my videos, where you can buy tickets. Or else you can buy on the spot.

Thanks for sharing. I am looking for information to travel on the ferry from Naples to Sorrento. We will arrive in June '2023 by cruise ship. Where is the ferry located? Do you have the name of the ferry to Sorrento? How many times does the ferry make it's trip to Sorrento? Thanks.
Hi Diane, thanks for your comments. I am on a trip to Prague now and so cannot give the exact details. I think I have a picture of the ferry booking site in the video itself. I also got a link for you below. The port in Naples (also called Napoli) is Beverello. Your cruise ship will probably dock there (as I have seen them dock in my video). So it should be easy for you to book. As for the names, you should see them somewhere in my video, or in the link below. Trip times vary due to weather conditions, and can sometimes get cancelled. But there should be a schedule online. You can pre-book online, as sometimes tickets get sold out fast. www.naplesbayferry.com/en/how-to-get-to-sorrento
