The first time i listened to this album i genuinely went into a trance 😭

Music to an extent is subjective so I respect Cole's opinion on Jeff but he's objectively wrong in some of the things he says. Seems like from the very beginning he was set on criticizing Jeff in any way he could lmao. To say his voice is unremarkable is an insane statement. This dude never had any proper vocal training yet had a tremendous amount of voice control and a stupidly high register. He influenced the likes of Radiohead, Muse, Adele, and Coldplay just from his voice alone, so to say its unremarkable is silly. Robert Plant from Zepplin talked about being blown away by his performance when all of Zepplin went to watch him perform one night. His lyricism wasn't really ever his selling point (although he has some beautiful lyrics in some of his songs), it was the amount of emotion and versatility in his vocals. His dad was also a tremendous singer worth checking out. What was really funny in this video was when Cole called Lilac Wine corny not knowing that it was written by Nina Simone and not Jeff, then proceeding to say she probably did a better job with it LOL. Seems like he wasn't there with an open mind and just wanted to dog on an artist he doesn't think deserves any praise for some reason.

Talking Heads, Adrian Belew, and Brian Eno are a match made in heaven. Crosseyed and Painless is my personal favorite TH track. I do think this album is a little frontloaded though. Once In A Lifetime is a once in a lifetime song. Easy 10.

A while back, I suggested that you guys react to Jeff Buckley’s unfinished sophomore album, Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk (1998). Can you firm whether this was added to your reaction list? If you do this, please make sure to include the two bonus tracks from Disc 2: Gunshot Glitter and Thousand Fold. Also, it is important to note that Disc 2 is comprised largely of 4-track demos that Jeff recorded in the house that he rented in Memphis during the last three months leading up to his death, so some of them are rough, experimental, and purposely goofy, at times, but there are some really cool moments in those demos, such as his Genesis cover of Back in N.Y.C.; the outro of which almost sounds like a Nine Inch Nails song. Disc 1 is comprised entirely of studio sessions produced by Television frontman, Tom Verlaine, that Jeff wasn’t pleased with. Despite the fact that these recordings weren’t up to Jeff’s standard - he even said that he wanted to burn them - they still feature some of his best work. It would also be cool to see you guys react to some older U2, namely, War (1983), The Unforgettable Fire (1984), The Joshua Tree (1987), and Achtung Baby (1991). Between 1983 and 1991, U2 was the best band in the world. I'd also be really curious to know what you guys would think of Vulgar Display of Power (1992) by Pantera, as well as some early Goo Goo Dolls -- before they sold out and started writing adult contemporary pop -- such as Superstar Car Wash (1993) and A Boy Named Goo (1995).

I know where I was the day this album was first revealed. It was played by Alan Freeman on BBC Radio 1, and it was so important to me and my friends that we all huddled around a mono radio and listened to the whole thing. To say our jaws were on the floor the whole time would be an understatement. It is wildly underrated. Achilles has to be one of the greatest rock guitar tracks ever recorded. It is also the track that made a lot of drummers want to hang up their sticks. Plant sang the whole thing from a wheelchair. I have been in the studio in Munich where it was recorded and met the engineers who were there when it was done. The booth has a big double door in the back that opened into an underground parking lot in the basement of the Hilton hotel. They left the doors partly open to get the reverb on Bonham's drums. All the engineers said they would never forget the session (for all kinds of reasons.) This is the album where angels fear to tread...

Achilles Last Stand is by far Led Zeppelin’s most impressive song. It is both Jimmy Page’s and John Bonham’s magnum opus. Every summer, I blast it, windows down, while I rip through the streets of Toronto, in my car. Can you please react to Buckethead’s album, Colma? I think you guys would really enjoy it. He wrote the album for his mom while she was in the hospital battling cancer, thus, many of the songs are tinged with deep longing and emotion. Besides Grace by Jeff Buckley, Colma is the only other album that has made me cry; there are so many beautiful moments throughout. It also features what is arguably my favourite guitar solo of all time, roughly beginning around the three minute mark of Machete. David Gilmour and Jimmy Page would weep if they ever heard it.

No particular opinion about the album, but I think Achilles is a better song than Immigrant.

Boogie With Stu is fun! I very much agree that Kashmir is the best on the album and very orgasmic. Too bad the album takes a total 180 at the end with Sick Again. Robert Plant's ego gets too big and my eyes are rolling. He might as well be tossing off to a mirror in a nasty gas station bathroom. Gross.

Ok..... don't hate me but I actually agree with Noah regarding the few first songs on the album. Interesting fact - In My Time of Dying was actually originally by Blind Willie Johnson in the late 20s, early 30s.

ok so i was able to give my full opinion on the livestream live of all songs, both because i was high and tough i would elavate the experience, it doesnt xD. And because of social pressure from everyone in the livestream that massively disliked the album that i was afraid to tell the whole truth of my opinion but since this comments sections is still active i will do it now of all songs.
