really nice build video but the boost device doesnt really make sense, if you wire 2x3s lipos together in stead of using one for the boosting device and limit the speed on your remote and set a button to disable the limit you have the same effect but cheaper and a standard traxxas motor cant handle 70000rpm its going to kill the lifespan of the motor
Hey Xavier, Thanks so much for the great comment and we’re so happy you like the build☺️👍🏻❤️🇺🇸 We thought of the idea you suggested - and don’t want you to have to limit the speed on your remote, instead we want you to have the maximum speed you can get from your battery and when your battery completely dies out, we want you to have a secret button you can hit on your radio to get a speed boost - just like they have on Fast and Furious… And yes, continuous running at 70,000RPM will reduce the lifespan the stock Velineon motor on Traxxas, but our boost device is not run continuously - it’s just used for a quick momentary speed boost when your battery dies out and you can always upgrade to a more robust motor like castle or HobbyWing to handle the power and 70,000+ RPM our boost device punches out. I thought the whole $240 "build video" was a troll😂. Love this channel but $250 can get your a single 8s battery and esc right?. Im not trying to kill your margins but 240 is criminal for a video and no parts😂
