13:49 lol even i did that in assetto corsa glad to see that part of the track doesn't only confuse me sometimes.
These cars sound fantastic!
55 to 0 in a second, safety these days is incredible
What is the ladder to lmp3?
Nice!
One suggestion - when you head out on stickers, pit after your times start to drop (lap 4 in this vid) and reset tire pressures. You can see from telemetry that your traction's already gone away significantly on lap 5, and continuing on will just produce worse lap times and more inconsistency as the tires overheat. Pitting and resetting pressures should give you consistent laps for the rest of the session.
Thanks for the suggestion! The team really wanted me to feel the progression on the traction from stickers to worn. I don't think this was a qualifying set up, so the pressures weren't higher than usual, but it is interesting to see how quickly the grip drops and then stabilizes
Ah, if the team had sent you out intentionally to feel the degradation of grip as the tires go from stickers to 'fresh' then no worries. I'd be willing to bet you still find the grip's significantly better after a pressure adjustment, but it's something to play around with. Was this session from 3/9 - 3/10/17? If so you probably saw my wife in her yellow/blue car on track...
Yup, I was out there on 3/9 and saw your wife (I met her at a test day at Laguna in Jan). It was a great day out! Will you be at the Challenge COTA test days? I've a lot about you from Matt Keagan and would be good to meet in person!
We are indeed going to be at COTA! We'll look forward to seeing you there :)
