Having that green day song in the trailer is what caught my eye for this movie. The trailer was perfectly done. I'm gonna be honest having the gay thing in this movie in this would not have been a good idea. In 1995 You would have had a lot of reactions like that jock.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s, i actually graduated in 90 so i grew up on those 80s teen movies and coming of age films. i some how had never even heard of Angus and i just randomly caught it on cable one night in the late 90s or early 2000s, and yeah that opening scene just instantly grabs you. i had been a huge Psychedelic furs fan and i instantly recognized Richard Butler's voice and was like "What the hell is this song i don't recognize it". and the Marching band really ads some sort of gravitas or something to it, after first hearing it that way it was sort of a shock to hear the normal song. i really love the movie, but that intro really puts you in the mood to follow this story.

I was one of the many background extras when this movie was filmed in Minnesota in October of 1994. A one day job! I'll never forget it!

i watched re runs of the 60s. but the 90's is forever the best spider-man series. the two 80's series rank as #2 and spectacular is number 3 and the rest are OK but easily forgettable

If those scenes about the father and mother were included it would of taken a great movie and made it perverted trash,

I was 9 when I first watched Angus after a year it came out. I really identified with it, with Angus, and now learning about how the parents were supposed to be gay the film would’ve been even more personal to me as someone with lesbian parents and gay godfathers

I just got a chance to speak to my brother earlier today and he had a similar experience . he always said his first memory is sitting in a theater with mom and dad watching 2001 . i subbed and cant wait for PRJ .
