I'm loving these Ren reaction videos, Jay! If you like his rap style, definitely check out The Hunger, Illest of our Time, Murderer, or Losing It. In another video you mentioned you hadn't heard him sing before. If you want to hear him do more singing, check out Chalk Outlines, Blind Eyed (The MC Sessions version is my favorite), or I Shot the Sheriff (the mashup he did with his band called The Big Push). Lastly, Ren usually puts the lyrics to his songs in the description or comment sections so if you want to go back and reference something he said, you can find them there without trying to rely on those captions. Those are really useful when he raps so fast that YT can't keep up, hahah. Keep it up! P.S. Oh yeah, he makes his beats, too. :D

I think we can definitely say welcome to the Renegades #OneOfUs As you discovered, you can’t go wrong with Ren. It doesn’t matter how old the song is, it is worth checking out. One of my absolute favourite Ren songs, Crutch feat. Bibi, is off his first album Freckled Angels. Which is also has the song with the same title that you should definitely check out before you get to Suic!de and For Joe. Ren does get better and better, but he was already great when he first released music. I think we’re going to have to come up with some new adjectives in a few years if he keeps levelling up 😂 Anyway sorry about your dad 🫂 I lost mine way back when I was just 17 and it can definitely be hard to even just wrap your head around and figure out how you feel. Grief is complicated and can present itself in many ways. I hope you find some comfort in the Ren rabbit hole at least 🖤🐰🕳️

As others have already said, Ren makes his own beats. And now you really need to check out the live acoustic version to see how he kills the song without the beat 😅 The beat is fire, but Ren doesn’t even need it. The acoustic version is arguably even better 😂

Yeah, he just did that 😅 Ren is a modern day bard painting such vivid imagery with his storytelling that it pulls you in and forces you to keep watching - even when it gets physically uncomfortable during Violet’s Tale. And Ren uses this ability to shed light on far too real issues in the world. Ren is special. Anyway great reaction! Now you get to wait in eager anticipation with the rest of us, cause Ren has said that he and his cinematographer Sam have plans to film a pilot to pitch to Netflix at some point. It was originally going to be while Ren is back in the UK after finished treatments in Canada and before moving to the US, but then he accidentally went and made an album that wasn’t planned 😅 All we know is that it will be in the same raw style as this trilogy, but that is enough for me to say that if Netflix doesn’t give Ren his own show, they are fools 😂
