Kate Morton is an author whose books and writing style I love. I haven't read Homecoming but I've read four others. Thanks for reminding me to get back to reading what she wrote. I still need to read Homecoming, The Distant Hours and The Clockmaker's Daughter. And thanks for showing us the amazing light display. I live in a very small town in the Northern California mountains and there's nothing like that anywhere near here! (new subscriber here)

The Irish Country Doctor series by P. Taylor is great. I'm on book 5. I will say that it's best to read them in order (except for Irish Country Girl I don't think that one matters) so you can follow the characters progression.

I could do without any holiday food, honestly. I am no longer really one who celebrates...but I know I will end up cooking the regular norms for that day. Turkey and dressing and green beans and potatoes and gravy. Not sure what I personally will eat that day and those will be in small amount...but they will be present for those who want it. I hope I can get in the spirit of the holidays before they get here!
