I haven't had it in mind, but you never know. I haven't used FL in quite a while, but when I have in the past I always found myself cranking out trap beats like it's nothing. Still has the best piano roll in the game in my opinion.

@@QTALISCHILLI recommend trying to learn songs that you like by ear. It helps you get a better feel for how notes go together and makes it easier to play the ideas you got in your head. Honestly this goes for any instrument but the bass was the first thing I ever played and it worked really well for me.

I signed up to be a part of the MPC 3.0 BETA when AKAI sent registration a while back. Try this link to add it to you Akai account, then you have to go to your available downloads on the akai website and download their MPC Update installer, connect your mpc to a pc or laptop, run the installer and finally activate it in the activation section on the mpc. What in particular about it don't cha like and what kinda adjustments would you suggest that would still show the whole MPC and keep the UI visible? It's not zoomed in, it's probably the slight tilt of the overhead cam that makes it feel zoomed.

@@qmakesbeats i eventually went back to 2.15 where I was able to sign in to in music, and then it worked when I installed MPC 3 again

Which key features and components make an MPC an MPC in your opinion?

A good analog output stage that make the drums sound punchy.

@@qmakesbeats The a/d converter is a must and The capacitors and good source material.. The mpc live and X are cool I just think it sounds more like an audio interface. someting is going on with those machines.....Akai/Air released a softclipper.Need I say more?.Come on you know why they did that

So, in your opinion, what do they do. Double down and give it a HDMI out on a new series of models that people would complain about buying, or do they say "let's scrap the concept of a visual UI, and keep MPC as a studio accessory rather than centerpiece" Like to me this is just the logical next step before we get a whole new line of MPC'S

@Cody404_ imo HDMI is next, and it has to be. What they decide to do next or not, I have no opinion on it. I just know the direction they are going is the DAW route, and to me its no longer an MPC, and I minus will continue to use Ableton if you think about it.

Roland fantom G had a full arrangement view similar to this on an 8 inch screen and it worked just fine with out hdmi or vga out.

reason was way ahead in some ways but also way behind in others. Its weird i have a love/hate relationship with it. My main DAW is Cubase Pro 13 but I use Reason as a plugin for the creative juices to flow for that very reason because I'm used to it. If only someone made an SSL Reason Mixer Hardware Controller... that would be SICK.
