Sorry you were disappointed with the fight, but it was an obvious rigged money grab from the get go. Gone are the days where Iron Mike backs out of a fight because he isn't in good shape and wants to respect the sport. I think Mike's legacy is too large to be truly blemished by this, but the fact that he would take this fight at all is disappointing.

It’s disappointing how peoples instant reaction to seeing a woman or minority in a movie is revulsion. It makes you wonder what kind of people they are in real life… even if a movie does has an agenda it still has a right to exist and have an audience. Iron man 1 is propaganda to support the war in the Middle East and nobody complains about it having an agenda.

Mm. Many worlds theory... Good topic. The fallen timeline might have always been intended.... Killing Ganon is rare though... Link dying, right before the final encounter can occur in any game.... This is meant to be so far out that it is all seen as meer legend. They are rather insistent on that.. the only thing that is common is the hero of time, and some of his tales. Your not necessarily wrong... The fallen hero can always occur though, at any given point that link doesn't somehow manage to come back. But we can go much wider on this. Say twilight princess link dies.... As far as ganondorf goes, your not wrong there, as he is the second coming of demise. (Interestingly we may be able to annihilate both a still sealed demise, and beast Ganon. I wonder, as the curse seems to be permanent, on what may come after...) As far as it all goes, I think you have a pretty good feel for it. Spirit tracks end boss only felt like he was channeling a fraction of power.

I believe the split decision on the love it or hate it is the fan base. Those who loved it may not have been Power Rangers fans, or keep up with the series so much, while those who didn't like it are more of the hard core fans that didn't appreciate the massive changes that were made from what the series provides. That being said, I was only ever into Power Rangers for the first season and the first movie, haven't watched anything else. When this movie came out, I didn't expect much, but still wanted to give it a chance for nostalgia purposes (which seems to be the thing everyone is doing....remakes). As you mentioned, most of these Rangers were all sent to detention, so now we literally have 'The Breakfast Club' establishing a friendship, and later to become the Power Rangers. Anyway, I really enjoyed the movie. A lot more than I expected to. And I think it is because they did something with this movie to make it not feel like the series. They gave the characters a lot more depth and more relatable back stories, while the series is more "teenagers with attitude". Overall, it feels this movie was made for non fans as an action movie with an original story, and something for old fans to bring back their childhood. What do you think?
