This is the 2 Gun / Long range stage at the 2024 Iowa Regional Tactical Games event. This was an all steel stage. It started with pistol with 2 required shooting positions that each had a plate rack and 4 falling steel. Then you moved to the rifle portion of 10 targets ranging from 70 yards to 465 to include an 11th target, a rifle spinner. Par time was 180 seconds.

NIce Job!!
I run steel plates like the ones I wear on duty. Train how you fight
💯, ran steel plates for a few years. I keep those in a backup carrier when I train at work now.
Slicker than a cats meow lol
Is there room for Skittles in that buttstock? Be a lot cooler if there was 😅
The Dillon is firmly on the list instead of the Frankford. Thanks for the advice!
Anytime homie!
Do you lube every case? How often do you clean out the sizing die? And how hard is it to clear a stuck case on the progressive press?
If the cases are getting sized, then, yes, all of them need to have lube on them, what I typically do is put them in a block and spray them with an alcohol lanolin mix. I clean my sizing die maybe every 2 to 3000 cases, or if I have a really dirty batch of brass that gets pushed through them. I’m guessing you mean a case stuck in the die, it really depends on the die manufacturer. If you’re using Dillon dies, they have a really easy way getting the case un-stuck, otherwise you have to take the whole die out and and use a stuck case remover.
Awesome man. Thank you. Didn’t know Dillon dies had a method to remove stuck cases
It’s actually pretty clever! Gotta check it out
Nice setup. 550 probably the next step for me
Love the intro! 😂
Gotta give the people what they want!
Never seen that one. I like the Lee hand held
I used the rcbs handheld for years. What I like about the bench mounted is that it doesn’t fatigue my wrist when I’m priming 500 cases, so I don’t have to worry about the seating depth changing.
@@drummnl oh yes true at my old age I do need to consider. I’ve been boing bulk with my Dillon 550. 220 swift and some .243 I do by hand
Good job brother! Great presentation, look forward to seeing more of your videos
Thank you!
What a handsome lad
Haha “I’d rather get punched in the face than load a hundred rounds of pistol” 😂😂 can’t wait for your progressive series my new Dillon should be in this weekend!!
Seating and crimping in separate stages for the win.
First to like!!! Leaned something new! I want to get into this madness of reloading. Thanks bro
You will really enjoy it!
Good wrap up. Hope surgery goes well; see you next season!
Thanks Jon!
Great breakdown of the games!
Thanks Kyle!
Just about to start reloading again this winter once hunting season is over with so this series is perfect for me to get a refresher!
Awesome!
Can u have a weapon light in the tactical games
Yes you can, rifle and pistol
Excellent tutorial!
23.6 IYKYK 😉
Wow, great clean-shaven new look! Now, we can see your face. The information is great!
Did you sand the wood to prevent splinters? That’s amazing how quickly and well you scaled the wall. You must have great upper body strength. I love your videos!
What were the farthest distances that you shot or were planned?
445 was the furthest
Super helpful. Only more excited about Tac2Gun
You won’t be disappointed! A ton of fun!
Thanks for the review, looking forward to hitting one of these & had no idea what to expect
It has all the things that are good!
Great AA review!
Thank you Kyle!
Nice job Nathan!
Good stuff
Thanks for the update
You are so knowledgeable! Great speaking voice!
The round count not matchign the view port is from the way that Atlas are designed to work with 3 different size followers, basically you learn what portion of a round is visible through viewport corresponds to round count based on which follower you run. Competion follower allows 2 more rounds but you lose lockback, their largest follower cost you two round but has a very reliable lockback there is also a middle ground offering as well.
Great information! Thank you
What is the Price difference ??? Yup 60 % more !!! Is it worth it ?????? Both Comp and Carry ???
$100 for atlas vs $70 from staccato about 40% increase. In my opinion, it’s worth having one or two for competition. I wouldn’t use them for carry though.
A little tap tap taparoo. Great video Nathan!
🙌🙌🙌🙌
I have the exact same setup but with a gen 3 G17
Nice!
Great video! I'm running a gen 3 34 next year, so no red dot for me:(
You can always look at getting the slide milled, it’s not near as expensive as it used to be!
Thumbnail game is on point!
Thank you! I can definitely give my wife the credit for her graphic skills!
Nice work!
6GT build looks pretty sweet 🤙
Thanks dude, I’ll definitely be looking forward to competing with you at a sniper competition!
We look forward to seeing you at the HQ!
I cannot wait to get up there!
The wrench cutout is a 1/2” hex for scope rings
I see you're running three mag pouches, I've seen other athletes talking about needing five. What is your recommendation?
Great question! So there are times where you will need 5 pistol and 5 rifle mags on the stage, however I only run 3 rifle and 4 pistol pouches. The main reason is because I don’t run more is because I personally run everything on my belt and not on my plate carrier and you run out of room. So when I have extra mags that I don’t have pouches for, I honestly stick them in pockets. Been working for me since 2019. I hope that helps!
@@drummnl Yes that does help, I was honestly thinking about just sticking an extra mag or two in my cargo pockets as well. Based on your video I ordered the G-Code scorpion mag pouches, and plan to stack the pistol on top of the rifle. But I'll try it out at my range before the games. Best!!
@@brad27713 awesome, Let me know how you like them!
I only have access to a 100 yard indoor range that I'm not a member at so I normally do a 50/200 yard zero at 10 yards (target from Jerking the Trigger) at the indoor range I'm a member at (it's free, kinda) and try to confirm at 50 at the indoor range. I guess I could also "try" and confirm at 100 with holdovers? But that would just reinforce how bad a shot I am and probably mess with my head. LOL
So this is pretty common not having access to a longer range. 50 yards is a starting point. I would get an accurate measurement from the mid line of your barrel to the middle of your optic and get a accurate velocity and input it into a reputable ballistic solver like StrelokPro, then verify the holds
@@drummnl Already put info into Strelok and testing holds at the range this weekend. :)
@@ckkevin9620 nice!
Great video sir!
Glad it can help!
a liberal layer of grease or lucas gun oil on the buffer spring will take the twang out of it and smooth out the impulse a bit. rarely will you get a lot of trash back in there anyway.
Good info to know
