Just some dude playing Hunt: Showdown.
As you can see by my videos, I'm not really very good at the game, but I try my best. Hopefully one day I'll be good enough to be 5* as a solo.

This video isn't saying the mosin is bad, just that I suck too much to be considered 6*
tbh I still think this mmr is better than the last one because 6* don't play against 3* *too often* but it is depressing to not be able to play solo during my last days playing the game.
I just noticed that I didn't mention this during the video lol but I will not be able to play after the 15th because of the engine update, my pc is not great and I'm from a third world country, an upgrade here would cost way too much :( it was fun while this lasted though, it's just a shame that I wasn't able to play solo that much recently. Maybe someday I'll upload hunt again, or some other game if I find anything I love just as much, but with the way games are going I doubt it, and, chances are, I'll probably quit gaming entirely if it doesn't work on my pc

Honestly, the only compact ammo weapon better than the officer is the Marathon, but that is just because I like the iron sight too much lol Also, those stealth kills were most of my games with this weapon, so even though it was a short clip I decided to include it anyways. This time around, I actually should have a decent quality since I got a monitor upgrade aswel :D It's kind of amazing how the spear has been out for about 2 days and I've gotten almost a dozen kills with it so far. Personally, what hurts the most on dragons breath is not even the lack of insta kill, it's the muzzle speed. It goes at around 100 meters per second, which is the same as the bow. The Mako is A tier, not S like the Mosin, but the iron sights make it so easy to headshot sometimes you feel like it's better than it should. These new guns Hunt showdown has added are quite fun. I'm absolutely loving this weapon. It might suck on higher mmr lobbies, but so does every other non long ammo weapon pretty much :v I just wish I had FMJ to get that little boost. Ngl this one was very difficult, with the last few updates hunt showdown had, single shot rifles really feel underpowered, especially going against people using the meta stuff. The exception to this, weirdly enough, was the springfield, but that was because it became a headclicker with HV, and because I got that clip on my second try after getting HV :v

Learning that slugs in hunt showdown did so much damage at a distance explains a lot of deaths I've had lol Other fun facts about the range of slugs is that you can double tap the head up to 50 meters, and doing so will kill the morale of any enemy team you fight :v

I really enjoyed playing with the centennial bleed after the little break I took from Hunt: Showdown. If only most people didn't try to hide from it right away... e-e Also, I did get a bit excited about the transitions, sorry if it's a bit annoying

I probably should have just used the crown right from the start, but I didn't want to waste money despite the economy. Guess old habits die hard I'll probably try to post these more often, so if you have anything to say about the video and what I can do better and such, feel free to coment.

I still don't get why some people that hate this gun in hunt showdown :( The only real issue I have with it is the misaligned iron sights, but besides that, it's pretty decent at everything it does imo. Once im able to get quartermaster i swap out the pistol for the winfield vandal, a bit more ammo and way more control.
This and bornheim aimpunch so much that it acts as a defense layer

As a Solo I was recently suffering mega ton in 1v3 mode 19 out of 20 you always get burned 0,5 second after being dropped playing necro is just awful experience since they will also always corpse camp

No.... on these Servers you play Solos and Duos that are scared to play against full teams. So it is campy as hell... that is a fact. Bad advice...

Solo against duos is not better as people sweat like its ranked, too many third parties to count and dont forget the camping

people tend to see rachtaz hornet and other droping trios as a solo and think OH i can do that im one of those and play vs trios you kill the first maybe the second and then third disappear or camp a bush and kill you and then he ignore everything he focus entirely on you body till the end of the match or you insta burned you need to revive while 2 or 3 people looking at you but when you play duos you have a chance as a solo to do something and be successful
This is bullshit. You are actually getting duos. Almost everytime I play solo vs duos, its just me, versus 11 solos hiding in bushes or camping the extraction points, they don´t even investigate the clues, it´s insane.
Sorry that is being your experience! I actually had that happen a few times after 1am, so maybe it's a time thing? Or maybe it's a region thing, I usually play on SA servers since I'm from brazil, but I've seen a few people from the USA coming to the SA servers because the matches they are getting there are a bit weird
Good movement but tripling down on High velocity ammo (secondary and ammo box) while it's supposed to be a one-tap build kinda defeats the point, Hi-Vel is terrible for body shots also. I would go Sparks pistol for secondary if you wanna be budget or uppercut, then you also get pen and better 2 tap swap potential.
I never looked at hv on the officer as a one tap build since most of the times it's easy to double or triple tap, but I'll take a few tries with hv and uppercut/sparks pistol, the lack of pen really does bother me at times, thx for the tips!

how do you know the ammo speed is bugged?
I went to the shooting range, recorded myself shooting a target at 100m distance a few times, then used DaVinci resolve text+ to count the frames it took for the bullet to reach the target, and then used a online calculator to figure out how much time it in ms the bullet took to reach it. The 400m/s speed should reach the target in 14 frames, taking 250 miliseconds (according to cornf's head lenght spreadsheet) however it was reaching it at 17 frames, taking 288 miliseconds. At that point, I figured that it might have been the spreadsheet that was bugged, so I decided to do the same test with the Winfield since it has the same muzzle velocity as the Martini, and when I did, the Winfield was reaching the target at the 250 milisecond mark, taking 14 frames to do so, which confirmed that it wasn't the spreadsheet that was wrong, meaning that it is the weapon's bullet speed that is bugged. Also, I tried to find how fast the bullet needed to go to reach the target at the 288 milisecond mark, and the value I found was 347 meters per second (I did this by just lowering the muzzle speed until I found it lol) Also, here is the link to cornf's video about muzzle speed so you can get the spreadsheet if you want to, it's on the description. ua-cam.com/video/JcYvMz4wTNk/v-deo.html
