2020 jeep wrangler radio removal to the point.
Please update us … can i fit a 10.25 screen here with original wires?
@@abdallahalabed6850 no. It'll be different wiring and data. I think the 10.25 system has a totally different factor amp with more out puts.
Ouch Tough break man!
Dang bro no skids and you are wheeling like that. Bummer. You have such a chill response.
That wasn't my jeep but we got him down to road then went back up and ran johnbull. I'm up there almost every Sunday. Shit happens. No need to get upset. Sux when it does but it is what it is.
That sucked out on the trails, hopefully a real road is close by.
Took about an hour of towing it down into big bear. Went pretty smooth all things considered. After we got him down my budy and I went back up and ran johnbull.
So how do you get it home now?
Pulled it down with another jeep to road and loaded it up on trailer. Me and the other jeep went back up and ran trail. Things happen just have to be prepared.
Thanks Mr g !!!
What up wess
Where is amplifier of ds car back side r under seat
That one was behind the radio itself.
Thanks, all of the other videos were saying hit it like 7 times and hold and 8th time, ect. None of them worked, but yours was dead on. Thanks 👍
Dealership royally screwed my up radio install and the back trim piece is pressing in my dash to tge side of the radio.. do I need to move the radio forward to pop that out of can I just pry it off to put it back in right?
Any idea how to do the drivers side haha. Looking to replace those stupid vents trims that break
If i remember the drivers side is the same. Have to go from under with extension. I've been doing this kind of work since the 90s and i can't think of another vehicle that was just a pain doing any thing too.
The 2 screws for the radio are tucked up in there. I missed that on the removal.
Why were you removing it? Did it fail?
I was adding audio control LC7 or a DSR1. Either or i was taking higher output speaker lines and coverting them to low level RCA output to send signal to after market amplifiers. That was a customers car i did a couple years back so i don't remember the details of all i did.
Hell yeah brother!
They both ran?
Yep. The car that had right away looked like older clappped out civic and we thought his accelerator got stuck on impact because his shit took off. I drove down rd to check if he was alright but he was gone then on way back i found the car that was trying to cross. Old drunk man dumping hi shit in parking lot and trying to stumble away.
😐
You got some durable finger tips my guy. Ouch 😂 I appreciate you for this video
Can you remove start stop button by just removing the climate controls or do you need to remove radio too?
I worked on that vehicle 2 years ago. Honestly I don't remember. I work on so many different vehicles.
He gave you a kiss!!😂
Situational awareness is a thing. Most bikers learn to avoid dangerous things like cars and trucks, not run into them.
Goofy Mazda doesn't know how to change lanes
Bro I can't see
You can't even see the people in the truck. This video was pointless AF
Im confused, what happened exactly?😂😂😂
You bumped
You are a dumbass
Does anyone know if these radios have anti theft code locks on them? Planning to replace my screen on my 2019 kia forte
Haven't had one lock up in a while. Not like the old Honda radios. The new ones even if it says code just give it a sec and it clears itself after data communicates.
@@jeremygallegos4502 that’s good to hear. I bought a radio off a eBay, way cheaper than MSRP. Needed to replace just the screen as it has major bubbling under it (apparently common issues with these models).
This is how a video should be made. Straight to the point. Thanks!
does anybody know if a 2021 model of that stereo is compatible with a 2023 model?? please if anyone can help
I'm about to try a 2022/2023 10.25" screen on my 2021 so we will see but I've heard it works.
@@ericthompson4820 How did it go? Was that a swap from an 8 inch to a 10? I want to attempt it but not sure if the dash cutout is the same size.
Any idea where I can find a replacement stereo like this one?
The dealer on any thing that new.
What part were you on coming up the hills or did you reach the top as it drops down to 3n16
I went east at big pine Campground down 3n16 then north on 3n56 then north west at the split on 3n17. About 2 miles up. There's a good peak there and a spot to turn around but the rd if you continue will bring you back out at big pine Campground. But the rout i took is the easiest way id say. If it wasn't for the snow you can make it in 2wd vehicle that has proper tires and a little clearance.
You had a horrible humm in your mic. Probably that damn Ferd in the background causing it.
Something about center console?
Are you asking if i have knowledge of the center console in that car?
@Jeremy Gallegos if yoknow how remove it, there is a piece in the back but I would like to remove it without remove the whole console
That was a customers car i worked on awhile ago. I don't think i removed any thing from center console. Wish i could be more help.
Didn’t even show us removing it. What a useless video. Thanks
Thank you for making this to the point
Appreciate it, hard to find solid info on the newer models. I have a 23 Forte LX with no Sirius, do you think the SXV300 kits will work with these radios?
So its just a normal double din radio you don't need any special replacement one to go aftermarket? And does the stock have an RCA connector?
Good job
What were you installing ?
Wondering are there any aftermarket radio options for our cars yet?
I just looked it up and there's a kit now. Metra makes it. 107-ki2hg
How the heck does the lid under the radio bezel come off? (The little door lid where the USB cables plug in under the stereo). I’m swapping out to carbon fiber.
Did you ever find out?
How is the screen attached to the fascia?
Following! I have this same screen but all the other grand cherokees show it being separated while mine looks like it's attached to the screen.
Do you think the 10.5 inch nav from the limited would fit into the standard if I just replace it?
Looking to throw some subs in my car and I was looking for a removal for my sonata thanks a bunch!
It sucks the K5 GT-Line doesn't get the premium audio. Although I was very pleased with the standard speakers very good sounding. But I'll be replacing the front and rear speakers with JBL.
How far does the factory stereo connector pull out? I might want to de-pin and re-pin some wires, would there be enough room to maneuver? Is there enough room behind the stock head unit to place a small amp like the alpine 445u? Last question, could you send me a picture of the factory clips? I want to see if I can buy a t-harness online and mod it to work.
Hello, is there any website to find wiring diagrams for cars? I want to install an amo to my 2021 Elantra, but can’t find the speaker wire diagram
I use a site called direct techs but it's thru my shops log in. I can screen shot and send you wiring chart in a email. I've tried to post pic in reply comments but i guess you can't
Thank you!!
Also looking to put a system in my sonata but it’s the newest car I’ve owned and I’m very confused so it’s possible to hook up an amp to the stick head unit?
Yep. Are you looking just to add bass or a 4-5 channel amp?
@@jeremygallegos4502 so what I was told was the only way to put subs in a stock unit the easiest way is to tap into my rear + and - speakers so I just ended up buying a skar audio sdr 10 plus the amp it comes with it was a complete set then I also got a 2 channel line out converter it’s call an lc2i or something I bought posi taps I was told to use the lc2i to basically move the audio from the stock head unit then to the lc2 then to amp (hopefully this kinda makes sense I’m not much of a audio head) rn I’m looking for the speakers wiring diagram for the car and I’m having a hard time finding it on the internet they reason I think I’ll be okay because the base SE seems to not have a factory amp I looked all over the place can’t find one I don’t have any special audio in my sonata ether no Bose
A lc2 requires 12v ground and a turn on. It has built in turn on sensing but some times that cause a turn on/off pop or worse a feed back when you shut off car that causes the woofers to hum away at a hi volume. I like to use the 12v acc wire that turns on radio. All the wires you'll neef to power lc2 are behind the radio. Power and audio.
On the 35 pin harness behind radio 12v constant - red wire pin 11 Ground - black/orange pin 12 Ignition - yellow or blue pin22 38 pin harness Front left- +brown - white pin13-14
I want to connect a sub to the factory radio but can’t find the wiring diagram anywhere. Do you know where I can find it?
I was going to send screen shot of wiring diagram but i guess you can't send images in messages. I'd send link or attachment but you have to have log in. If you want to email let me know or if there's another way to send it on here idk about.
@@jeremygallegos4502 email it to idelarosa15@yahoo.com
Good to know thanks for this. Was the amp install difficult? I'm thinking about adding an auxiliary input as well. By chance did you see if there is an open adapter spot to add this?
What are you trying to add on? those new kias come with most the acc. The amps were easy. Kia doesn't used dedicated Tweeter mid sub speaker lines so no need to sum them. A basic hi to low will work. But I'd use a link6 or the audio control piece.
