Sonos Ace Review – Over-Hyped Or Just Right?
Get the Sonos Ace: www.rtings.com/afflink/Af8AAOyIAAA=
The Sonos Ace Wireless are the first-ever headphones made by this brand. Their past products include home audio products like soundbars and speakers, which can all seamlessly connect to one another via the Sonos app. These ambitious cans seek to challenge competitors like the Apple AirPods Max Wireless and Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless in the premium category. They're also equipped with high-end standards like active noise cancelling (ANC), head tracking, and companion app support. An especially unique addition is TV Audio Swap, which lets you connect the headphones to your compatible Sonos soundbar and receive its audio, so long as you're also an iOS user. That said, in an ever-crowded market, do these headphones stand out from the pack?

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds Truly Wireless Review - The Best Noise Cancelling Buds?
Great review. How does it compare to the Sony HT G700? I often have problems understanding the dialog with the Sony soundbar because everything (sounds, music, voices) gets mixed up, even if the overall quality is not entirely bad. But I usually prefer to use headphones as I can hear the voices very clearly. And that's why I'm thinking about getting the Samsung HW-Q990D. Does that make sense?
Bonjour. Merci
Great review. I have a q600b, and wish i had the privacy to use this system. Even at 20 volume, the bar is very loud for Blu-rays, and i have a neighbour next to my lounge. An option to add a 2nd sub would make this unbeatable 🙃
It's the modern rubber + the more older normal look too??? I'm getting these! The shape is unforgettable 😮, I love these
You have re-used text from TV reviews - "Should you buy this TV?" 6:15 onwards. This is a soundbar, right?
I paid 570€ for mine 👋 Promo in Samsung Nordic for people who bought a TV in last 12 months (spent minimum 2000€).
What about passive isolation from Etymotic or Shure IEMs?
Just received it and have to say this tws reminds me of sony's xm3 in terms of design choices, but arguably much polished. Sound quality is still a priority just like the xm3 at the cost of a larger size, but the general packaging & software ux design has been much improved to be on par with every other 3rd party tws manufacturers out there.
any reviews on sleeping earbuds?
Protect RTINGS at all costs!! They are such a good source for us consumers!! Thank you for you do RTINGS team!! Man I would love to be a tester at your company. It just hits my nerd brain in the right ways
Our testing doesn't stop once we've published a review! We're always working on improving our methodology to capture the true capabilities of a product more accurately. Since releasing test bench 1.7, which changed the way we test noise isolation, we've retested these buds, resulting in a score change. you can read about those changes here: www.rtings.com/headphones/tests/changelogs/1-7 You can also read the full updated review here: www.rtings.com/headphones/reviews/jabra/elite-10-true-wireless
The noise isolation tests have been redone for the Jabra Elite 10 and it scores second best as of this post in the table for ANC performance 😊
The actual competition to Bathys are actually Bowers and Wilkins PX8, B&O H95 or even mark n levinson no5905
skip any of these and go with sennheiser momentum 4...
Rtings is always my trustworthy reviewer
I love seeing the processes, methodology, and behind -the-scenes of operations like this, particularly when it's for reviewers that buy many/all of their products themselves (Consumer Reports, Gamers Nexus, America's Test Kitchen, etc.). Companies with integrity are often much more open. 👍
Thanks for the review! Was looking forward to this one. A little disappointing sound quality, so I think I'll look at some of the competitors. Comfort matters to me, so likely not Apple. Maybe Focal or Sony. 🤔
Thanks for watching, glad you found it helpful 😄
Appreciated the American Psycho reference
Screw Sonos. I bought their Beam soundbar. No Bluetooth and their own apps for streaming audio were just terrible. Never again.
Impressive... very nice. Let's see more comedy intros akin to the Beat's video: You walk into the office and see a sea of Sony and Bose headphones. You nonchalantly sit down at your desk as colleagues swivel and notice the subtle minimalism of your headphones. The light catches them, and the name 'SONUS' is beamed into their eyes. Everyone applauds. You are promoted to CEO.
You can get a wireless charging case for these but it’s an additional purchase
Mines always charge n stop
Yes just subscribed a few weeks ago to the Insider Access Program..it's fantastic...Montreal rocks.

@@RTINGScomAudio Thanks to you guys for doing excellent reviews, testing, ratings..helped a lot for deciding on which TV to buy.. I finally went with the Sony X93l last week..its great.

Always like seeing behind the scenes stuff like this. Shoutout to everyone involved in the process from the unpackers to the writing team and hosts, y'all are doing great work, and as someone who seeks out RTINGS for recommendations on different products, your work is much appreciated.
Thank you for the kind words! 😄
Great work guys but it's for when the reviews of beoplay h95, mark levinson 5909 & T+A solitaire T (best headphones in market for their sound quality)
I’ve bought my LG C2,Sony XM4, UE Megaboom 3, Samsung Q990C, Logitech Master 3S and G715 all thanks to you guys. Even a Vacuum lol. Appreciate all the hard work :)
Glad to hear we were able to help! 😄
Great work to everyone working at Rtings 🥳🥳
Thank you guys for your work. I'm a technical nerd, so always nice to see you do proper measurements.
Happy to hear you find our measurements to be helpful!
Your reviews are the best! Love all the hard work that goes into them
Man what a timing, after crin retired we got another great audiophile channel
Hopefully we can fill the void, what videos would you like to see from us?
@@RTINGScomAudio I'd like to see a value proposition video. Something like "this headphone costs $500, and is clearly better than this other headphone that costs $100. But the other headphone will give you 70% of the experience of the $500 dollar one for just 20% of the cost" Will have to be kinda subjective, I imagine, but I appreciate subjective opinion from people who know their stuff.
Thanks RTINGS for helping customers make informed purchasing decisions!
Thanks for trusting us! We do our best to help 😄
these sound super clear wish i could afford to keep them tho😢
6:14
I thinkt he app is glitched because i get actual noise cancelling on setting 1. Setting 6 sounds like anc off
What happened to RTings?? Did they get acquired by another company??? I am not a fan of whatever happened.
Nothing happened! We've started a few new channels to target different users we have, but otherwise same people! What specifically are you not a fan of?
Did you guys review the Beolit 20?
We did! You can check out the review here: www.rtings.com/speaker/reviews/bang-olufsen/beolit-20
I first noticed the EAH-AZ80 earbuds for the 3-device BT multipoint. I think the BT spec allows for many more devices than that but it's hard for manufacturers because of the small signals and interference problems and are usually limited to 2--so I'd like a thorough look at how seamless device handoff really is in practice. I also have found that earbuds with dongle connectivity work much better than with BT. The common issues I see that WOULD be dealbreakers if I knew beforehand, and I don't see tested for, are: 1. Time to reconnect to my phone (on other multipoint earbuds of mine the startup connection to my phone is not automatic at all--I have to go into BT settings and tap on the buds) 2. Initial audio cutoff from silence -> play. I have to use a USB dongle to connect earbuds to my PC, and no matter which I use, from Sennheiser or Creative or Haisen Keji, there is a half second or so of audio that is missed at the start of any song or video played, when started from silence--so I've used a quiet ultrasound audio file playing on loop as a workaround. Notably, earbuds that come with their own dongle do NOT have this problem. 3. Multipoint device handoff issues--what happens when your phone rings? How do the earbuds handle the incoming call? Can the PC or phone steal focus from the other even though nothing is playing? This is an issue when you have a video paused on one device and try to use the other. Does every new email or notification pause or silence whatever you were doing on the other device? Going forward my new minimum standards for earbuds are: come with a USB dongle (or otherwise can prove they have low latency and no audio cutoff), at least 10 hours continuous battery life, at least 2 device BT multipoint, and LC3 or aptX Adaptive (low latency) codec support. There are no earbuds that meet all these specs that I know of yet. The closest are the Sony Inzone buds but they don't have true multipoint support (you can hold both buds for three seconds to switch between using the dongle and BT--this actually avoids most multipoint handoff problems). They are very comfortable and my daily drivers now, though.
I bought I Samsung S90D TV and this soundbar Q990D and I want to connect a PC on this setup. My PC has a RTX 3070 TI which has HDMI 2.1. Can you pls tell me if It's better I connect it via soundbar or directly on TV? Thank you.
Great review video and love mine😀😍
These should be around $99.. great example of why companies pour money into marketing 😂
actually no they have great battery life, they are comfortable and sound great. Just because you can't afford them doesn't make them bad.
@newfnshow031 lol.. I have much more expensive headphones than these and these do not sound great if you've owned actually great headphones. I got these for my 9 year old and she doesn't even think they are good.
French intro was great. I thought found a French audio review channel.
Awesome headphones. Good review too. Am I the only one that notices the slight resemblance to the main character of turning red?😂
Now you guys should do the new MMX 300 Pro lol I wanna know how they compare directly to the Gen 2
can you guys do yamaha true x 50a next please!!
We can't make any promises, but we'll consider it if there's enough user interest!
Just got these absolutely LOVE them ❤
I just got a q990c with education discount for 600
I switched from these to a pair of DALI IO-12. To me the sound quality increase is as significant as the price increase👍👍
I thought I was having a stroke at the beginning.
😂😂
Got one on the way coming from a Vizio 2.1 I got like 12 years ago 😂 I must say it’s a champ still rocks just fine but it can go in my room the 86” needs this guy to go with I have never lived the surround life but im ready and I got to do it up right
Would like to see a review of the newer MMX 300 PRO compared to these.
