Thank you. I own land with two ladies have DIY livery and I think they need to move towards a track system. Thanks for all the info.😊
I can't believe that is only 2 acres! AMAZING!
Did the vet see you tack up? It looks like shes objecting to it being shuffled forward and tightened. When saddling start the pads far enough forward the saddle slides back as you tighten, so the hair underneath lays flat and comfortable. Never pull pads forwards into place, it creates discomfort between the horses skin, hair and the saddle pad 💞
Beautiful, ❤ from Florida
Wish I could understand what she’s talking about. She’s talking about a “horse track,” but I don’t see a horse track. A horse track is circular so they can do laps.
Love all the choices you offer them. Promotes their seeking behaviour.
Love this, and I can’t wait to get my track done!!!
I'm just thinking, when the horses stand on the mound, they're not pretending they're the king of the castle, nor hanging out there to enjoy views. To a horse herd, the best and broadest view of their farthest surroundings spells safety. It's that simple. They can ease up their natural state of hypervigilance and relax just a notch. They can exhale while they're up there, knowing that the vulnerable members of the herd are in the safest spot they can be. Even there are in fact no predators in the area, this is the horses' instinct. Not meaning to sound critical. I absolutely love, and am grateful for, your video. What you've done is inspiring, and your narrative is truly educational. I've only got two miniature horses, but have the opportunity to set up a track system, and your video is one of the best I've seen on the subject.
I put in my first tract for 5 horses but they just stand in front of the eating and not moving. I see you have many feeding stations. I only have one, do you think adding more helps with movement?
The only way to start them moving is to have several feeding stations with a small amount of food in each
Can you do a video on how to do the track surface in more detail 😁l , iv looked all over the internet for a step by step guide ,, thanks
Thanks for your comment, I will try my best to make an explanation video soon
Hi , I am considering TCS but I just wonder how easy it is to learn to be seated properly in it, do you sit on the leather or just behind it? I have got a sheepskin bareback pad (from Barefoot saddles) in Australia. It is well padded so could I place the TCS over it? Great video, easily explained. 😊🇦🇺
The TCS is different for everyone. It didn't take me long to re learn my seat but I struggled with a standard saddle so the swap was easy. Feel free to join the TCS community page on facebook as this is where the company and other users discuss the saddle and there will be lots of posts you may find interesting. Thanks for watching
Nice feed for your horses but are you ok? Do you have any strange companies doing this for you or are you doing it yourselves. When you put "if you see one horse not getting something it is due yo the owner not wanting it" that's not ok. People can be cruel and use unconventional/natural as a way to get out of looking after their horses. I have seen it first jand plenty of times and they claim to be natural or unconventional. It is better to say not all horses need exactly the same feed or supplements. Which is obvious to anyone. Also not all horses should be kept on track systems. Some have problems and would not cope as well as others. I think having the tracks is a great concept but in reality it is very expensive time consuming and it has a whole others load of problems. It's very important not to create a them and us between conventional and unconventional. It doesn't help horses and people get upset and defensive. My horses have lived very naturally for years loving being out and hating stables but my current 2 actually like having their own space in the stable and are slightly prone to kicking and are a bit much sometimes for quiet ponies . Mine are very quick and will hoover up all the hay and kick, fight and get fat which they would really enjoy. They do live out for a lot of the year but no tight corners and not too much sharing hay . A lot if people are very interested in a track or all weather turnout but they want it to look really nice and be safe. They are looking for help and ideas so please don't put them off. We need less mud sometimes less grass and more safe turnout in the uk and much less novices and less kicking and injuries. There are some dodgy people out there trying to make money out of horses on Instagram ect so beware.
Thank you for the inspiration. My own track gets bigger step by step. Can you please tell me the name of the trees/bushes you spokeabout? I understood something like goose. Sorry, I am from Germany and my English is not so good.
Hello, Thank you for your comment. The plant is Gorse feel free to join the horse track system page on Facebook for more information
How do you clean this much space of manure??
It gets done every morning and evening as is easier than poo picking a field just a quick 10 min walk around the track and you done
Did you say the track is in a 2 acre field?, it looks very big
Hi, yes the track is on about 2 acres
Thank you for your review. This helps me decide if i want to buy one for my horse
Couldn't recommend it enough
Whats the membrane?
How big is the sandpit?
Hi, such beautiful videos.... please can you say, what is the overall size (acreage) of the entire plot?
Hi, thank you 😊 we have estimated about 2 acres
What kind of bitless bridle is that? I like it! Also, I am order my saddle this week, long or short billet? I typically ride in western saddle.
I use a flower/star hackamore but on the gentlest setting possible and ride with a loose rein she just finds that bridle shape more comfortable. I have the short billet but have never used a western saddle. If you head to the TCS community page on Facebook there are lots of conversations regarding billet length. Hope this helps 😊
@@thisisbeccalilly2435 thank you!
I’m planning my track system now. The grass is really rich, so how would I keep them leaning over the fence to nibble on the fenced off areas? What herbs do you plant in your pastures/paddocks?
Me too I'm interested in which herbs they plant in they pastures/paddocks.
I have massive Paddock Paradise envy! What a fabulous track! Thank you for the tour!
thank you for sharing i've been recently enthralled by track systems/free access shelters/paddock set ups lately and am having fun learning more about them as a design option
This was such bliss to watch! I hope I can do this one day when I get my own land <3
This system is fantastic. Would I need planning permission to do this and is it fairly easy to get?

Lovely girl! I actually really like your enclosure! I haven't seen one set up like that before. That should be great for them through adulthood!
Ma'am take your horse to the vet, the way she is trying to bite you is a way of communicating pain or it can just be a mean horse.
Thank you for your concern. She had a bad past experience regarding tack etc and we are working on this. I can assure you the vet has cleared her and its old habits we are trying to reassure her past.

Enjoyed the video. I don't have a horse yet, but have a back issue in my lower back too and I think that 'saddle' would be incredible. Also, I believe the horse industry should also move towards 'bitless' to encourage more use of them. Rhythm or 'spirit' beads are cool too if they help your horse. Your horse is beautiful and reminds me of a favorite lesson horse from a few years back..Would love to find him if he's still around and become his owner/partner, then move him to a pasture board horse ranch/stable, even though he was able to be outside most of the time and not in a stall at the location I rode at, but would give him more movement. Thanks again for the tack information!
I still struggle with how it doesn't create pressure points, I'd like to see a body worker asses a horse before and after...

Cute horses, they have. Paradise just for them
I’m planning to do a track for my 2 horses and a mini, 2 acres may be involved in the paradise, but I need to make a couple of changes, thanks for the tour

Thank you so mucb for this video. Im planning to have my horses on 2 acres land so its nice that i can visualise how that will be and also nice to get some uk references sites 😊
do you use a gel pad too?
You can use one, I know lots of people do. I personally don't have one but that may change in the future
I like it
Oh wow! I love that enclosure! I'm in the UK also! Hello there 💖

Do you like the total contact saddle? I’ve been looking at them for over a year but haven’t purchased one because I’m nervous about not liking it and they aren’t cheap.
Honestly, they are my favourite and I now find it uncomfortable to ride in any other saddle. Even my horse moves better in the total contact you can see her shoulders are a lot more free and smoother. I would recommend to anyone. If I remember right, total contact to a trial saddle for 15 days that you return after so you could always try first x
My American Standi is the same, hates schooling, but produces some amazing movements when out hacking.
Haha, Evie is 50/50 some days can be amazing others she is like a toddler and wants to do it her way 😄 x
We call them shedding blades. They are very handy and come in all shapes and sizes. They are amazing at getting hair off the underside of saddle pads
Also flick brushes and dandy brushes are two different things😂 a lot of people get them confused. Do you use hoof conditioner/oil on her hooves? Also I would love to see a video showing how you prep your horses for a show
Thanks, for the tip! I have never known the names of brushes and use what works for what I need. We don't use hoof oil as we keep all natural feet. I can make a video on why this is if you are interested.
Loved both tours of the track system… thanks!
Glad you enjoyed, thanks for your comment x
You prolly dont give a damn but does someone know a way to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!

@Leighton Watson Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Leighton Watson It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy! Thank you so much, you saved my ass :D
How do I move in? Lol
The first tool you used I don’t know what they are called either but I didn’t know it was used as a brush cleaner. I learned something new by your video 😁. Also I can’t remember names of thing either.
Thanks for your comment! I found it out last year, they are used to scrape the hair out of brushes. Glad you enjoyed x
