    Beautiful! I also have a Skutt Firebox 14 and have only used the pre-set programmes for full and tac fuse . Can I use the tac schedule as a contour fuse?

      No that won’t work, I use the bullseye recommended schedule. You should be able to find on their website. If you are in the UK you can also find on Warmglass website. 😊

    This really annoys me. There is no such thing as scrap glass! It can all be used and it all has to be paid for!

      @@CJGPickle exactly, thus the reason for the video as people often ask for ideas to use their off cuts.

    Only just found this video, you are very good at explaining everything. Haven't used modelling glass in this way yet, have only used moulds for frit and freeze purposes, but obviously you can't cut them to shape. Hope you are able to do more videos.🤔

    I’m so glad I watched this video because I literally just had TWO separate pieces crack and break yesterday! I had absolutely no idea why the would’ve cracked before I watched this video and your explanation of why your piece cracked fit perfectly as to why both my pieces cracked. Too many different thicknesses and not enough annealing time. Thank you for your help even though I didn’t know you would have the answer ❤

    • @fusedglassalchemy2012
      @fusedglassalchemy2012 Рік тому

      You are very welcome, I’d say annealing is the biggest challenge for glass making there are so many variables so better to air on the side of caution and anneal longer if in doubt. I’ve also had things crack ramping up the heat too soon. Bullseye glass videos have been an invaluable resource on my never ending learning journey. Have fun 😁
