@CrisV1 straight up an amazing display go for it. I compared them to other ones on store and this one was better overall. latency great, colors are great. the display is reliable, the store said they get warrantied less, the only thing to look out for is top left corner plastic might be showing small defect, each omen has it. when they insert the display into the base they leave a mark where they put the display from. doesn't affect the functionality of display, but if i had to buy this monitor I would go to the store and check out and pick one with a slightly less noticable mark. I've used this display for 5 months now and have had no issues and reccomend it, it's better then acer or aoc. Hope this helped

The base is kept on the table and can be lifted to move(it has rubber feet and can’t slide by touching the monitor mistakenly). The monitor can go up and down in height as the stand has a rail like mechanism when a monitor is attached.

If you plan on purchasing the monitor from Amazon, it would help the channel a lot if you click the link in description and then buy. So I control my refresh rate through the laptop/pc. Right click the desktop screen and click display settings. Then select the box that represents your display(the box will usually have some number, click identify to know which number is the monitor). Scroll down to “advanced display” settings in the related settings section. Click on the drop down options for “Choose a refresh rate” and choose the highest possible option. Hope this helps :).

I set mine to level 1 or 2, it feels uncomfortable to use level 4 and 5 especially while scrolling. It has very less motion blur that makes it straining for the eyes.

Both have similar features. But the asus monitor would be a bit thinner. The reason why I choose the omen is the clean interface with very good app integration. So it all depends on whether you want to have a less bulkier monitor(asus) or a cleaner interface(hp omen).

This hp omen model does not have rgb lighting in the back. That feature is available on some higher end omen monitors. However, you can control some settings of the monitor including color modes, crosshair, fps, in the monitor itself and the omen gaming hub software.

So the monitor comes with a HDMI cable in the box. As far as colors, I don’t see a difference while using a display port or HDMI cable.

So the monitor has a dp port but it doesn’t come with a dp cable in the box. You may have to buy the cable separately if you want to use a display port cable.

Nope it’s just a regular monitor with 2 HDMI input and 1 display port. I use my laptop connected with HDMI and use extend display in project settings. But the monitor does have various screen modes and reach a max of 165 Hz.

Do u mean my laptop or the monitor. On my laptop I get average of 230 fps. But since the max fps on the monitor is 165 hz, usually I get 165 hz on the monitor.

Hey, so I use a normal HDMI cable to HDMI cable and I get 165 Hz. But you could use USB C to Display port cable if you feel to do so. The gameplay with the monitor is amazing (video coming soon). For a person who used to play Valorant on my laptop, the monitor is a game changer with better experience. The video quality is very good for the price. Yup, this monitor has very vivid colors and even though it’s a 1080p monitor it feels like the screen has a higher clarity.

To me, it looks red in most color modes except sometimes in vivid mode it can be a bit orange.

I need an answer on this, on the HP site they are telling me that a VESA adapter is included but it was not in the box, not sure how to mount it

I also didn’t receive any VESA adapter in the box. So without it, I am not sure if it could be attached to a VESA stand without some third party adapter.

It does not have an option to control the blue light. However, it does have the following color modes: Gaming,Standard,Warm,cool,cinema,night,native and HP enchance+. I use warm mode for long jobs on the monitor and I have no eye strains. Just lemme know if you have any other queries.
