Its the peak of irony, to include "Israel" as a utopian state, pure madness.
Israel is built on the blood and backs of Palestinian's. There is an ongoing genocide.
Labadie Garden
Watching this for short notes on Middle English plays
You started by defining what a utopia is, but then proceeded to list examples of places that don't remotely align with that definition. In the end, it amounted to a lot of empty talk without substance.
lol kibbutz is bad example
Nowadays
🇵🇸🇵🇸❤
Thanks! I had the same problem and you helped me. Well appreciated you took the time to share.
The moment a philosophy or idea claims “UTOPIA” I immediately drop, it’s very dangerous bc people can justify terrible actions all in the name of utopia
Excellent video, just the music is a little bit loud and bit distracting, I like it tho
THE best video about medieval theatre on youtube. Thank you so much, you just saved my finals!!❤❤❤
Thanks for the feedback! These videos take a good bit of time and energy to make. My own high school students are not always as appreciative, so it's nice to hear that I've been able to help! Good luck with your finals!
background sound is disturbing while seeing ur video
"Utopia" comes from the Greek "ou topas," meaning "nowhere." But in between 1825 and 1860 there were perhaps a hundred attempts in the U.S. to create ideal communities. An author named Sir Thomas More Wrote a novel that wasn't a bore. The Utopian dream led to many a dream To experiments still part of lore. --------Limerick Rex
Thank you so much for this! I have a Uni exam and I got really stressed, because I am feeling very unhappy these days and I couldn't concentrate to study, but this video helps me remember things, so thank you!!
I’m happy it helped - good luck with your exams
Thanks a lot!
Great! I'm gonna use this in my class.
hi, i just came across your channel trying to study through UA-cam, and realized how little interaction you've had on your channel 🥺 so, from the bottom of my heart, i just want to say that your channel is amazing, it is really helpful, and you're beautiful!! hope everything is going well for you!!
Take out human nature in your statement
Human nature is inherently opposed to the existence of utopian outcomes
Thomas more and his Portuguese friends stolen history from 🇪🇹Ethiopia
What about the promise land Ethiopia
Forgot to explain what Dystopia is.
First
We need to be all one race ever through genetic engineering or mass genocide
I stopped watching the dystopia video when I saw the silhouette of Trump. You’ve got to be kidding me. Biden and his liberals are the ones creating a dystopia in this nation.
4:43 I’d like to clarify, Illiterate in the Middle Ages were for people who cannot READ or UNDERSTAND LATIN It’s made known that the average person can read their local dialect or vernacular, but since Latin was the Lingua Franca of the age, you’re generally considered well-learned if you spoke Latin. Another point I’d like to add is that there are traveling performers and troubadours that are ALSO made to play these shows Overall, good vid! 👍
I wonder if I’ll understand why everyone is talking about their English exams next year 😂
who came here for their assignments?
Excellent overview of such a rich period in theatre history.
Thanks Kip! It’s great to get feedback from an expert in this area. I’m aware that it’s minimal - it’s for students who speak English as a second language
@@Factotum6814 Emily, I am far from an expert. You probably know far more than I do. Haven't studied medieval theatre or had much to do in that arena for decades. Your video had stuff in it that I never remembered. Medieval literature courses in College had us struggling through Canterbury Tales in the original middle English - insane! So, I found it fascinating to revisit via your video.
Thank you so much, clear and detailed.
Brilliant <3
Please divide videos into play lists so that it's easier to find what people are looking for
This channel is a great resource
It’s pretty much like Sonic The Hedgehog CD. Whereas the good future is described as Utopia while the bad future is described as Dystopia.
Literally the reason I clicked on this video :D
Let me be clear a perfect world will not be now, if it is it will be a False Perfect World. Evilness has taken over this world, when Yeshua Hamashiach comes then all things will be made New. Don't be Deceived! 2.12.2022
Very helpful. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Bravi!
Thanks Mrs. Harris. But alas, I assume you are somewhat biased...! 😉
Wonderful, it works brilliantly as a brass piece. Congratulations to you all. 👏
Thank you very much! I'll let you know if we add other movements.
This is critically beautiful awwwww 100% beautiful. Thanks for backing it up with musical examples.
You didn't talk about the dystopia ...
It's the first video of two - to understand dystopia, you need to first understand where the term Utopia comes from, and what it means. Please watch the next video ua-cam.com/video/838s50CTG8I/v-deo.html

U are amazing best melody video ive seen on youtube💯💯💯💯
Thanks - glad you enjoyed it!
This is the first time I have heard this story! What is going to happen next.?
Pov: you have online class 💀😍🔫
Is this a TOEFL trick question?
Good topic for the video though.
Also it's very hard for people to think that there is no hope at the end. I hate the idea of utopia here but overall the idea of a outer utopia keeps us saine. ( Now more than ever)
This video: Freedom of religion. Also this video: hints that heaven dosn't exist and that religious people are stupid or sumthing.
Dystopia is not part of the video :D
