Sometimes I get stuck and regardless of the aircraft, it won't roll. The parking brake is off. So I have to step on the toe brakes on my Saitek basic rudder pedals, and it will then "unlock" the brakes and roll. No idea what causes this.

how do you maintain altitude

Can you link where you got the b777? I got one but it was from Captain Sim, and the plane barely works properly and you can't land because you can't slow down without putting max flaps, spoilers and cutting all engine power.

Moments like this are the best of times, my grandfather drove steam engines about 100 years ago, such a great time to work in transportation.

Really enjoying DC-8 content on YT. Will be flying this on my own channel soon! When flying the B377 and Connie, coming 'off the step' into a cruise profile is a standard proceedure as far as I can remember. They would always climb an extra 1000ft or so and then descent to gain speed and get up to their cruise profile quicker. Rather than labour through that drag from the angle of attack. With props at FL300 you kinda need to do that as you'll be stuck with a high angle of attack way too long. I guess a propliner isn't the only aircraft that has this issue!! :P Keep the DC-8 stuff coming! Theres definitely not enough ppl interested in vintage aviation these days!
