waiting for me to fix my V50 siren starts late at night and wakes up neighbors. That flashlight will be a problem and when I press the key to unlock the siren it will turn on.

Ive scoured the internet trying to find out whether the preheater control has a live feed to the brass connector next to block connectors...if it does..as your video is the closest ive seen to one having a live feed..I'm wondering were does the cable come from,,,mine has come away,,ive searched around the engine looking for it with no luck

I can confirm this is the same place in V50 (not under the wheel arch!) Alarm siren on a v50 is metal cased, but is interchangeable with the plastic variety (also, plastic one is the one where you can change the battery of, I got a second hand one on eBay, replacement battery, and at it worked a treat!). I am having a similar problem in my Fiat Petra 1.9D, The glow plug light is not Coming ON in the dashboard and hence i can't start the engine. Is there any fuse which i shall check? I am unable to find, please help. People are telling me to change the glow plug control Unit

problem fixed ..it was the wiring running down the left side..

The code reader stated pre heat control unit so dont assume its specific! Check fuse first.😉😉

The siren alarm will drain your battery if not replaced..its easy to do and cheap! Have a go!

If you have warning lights on your dash, step 1 is to have the car diagnosed/scanned..you can buy a basic scanner for £20! Mine said egr valve stuck hence the video..refitting - leave the bottom two bolts loose and line up the others✔

My story...abs esp inoperative on display..code reader said left rear wheel speed sensor faulty..changed part no success..2nd reading from auto electrician said no pulse down left side of car..advised to change abs pump and module..done that ( in video) no success..3rd reading said left rear again..am now changing the rear hub( abs ring inside it) ..will update as i go..£200 down so far 😣😣
