How do you get accepted to Duke but waitlisted at the University of Michigan? That’s crazy to me. The only school I ever wanted to go to was the University of South Carolina. They have the #1 honors college in the nation (at the time that I went there). So, that was the only place I applied to and I got accepted. I had no backups or plan B.

Congrats. I have been noticing applicants that get admitted to UNC Chapel Hill also get admitted Duke. Similar minded admission councilors and admission criteria.

Currently waiting to hear back from the rest of my schools. The fact is UMICH is my top choice, but waiting until March is going to be terribleeee ahhhh
