How to Block Tubi app on Roku TV using TP-Link Wifi Router or OpenDNS
BLOCK ANY WEBSITE/APP WITH ADULT CONTENT, MATURE AUDIENCE (TV-MA) CONTENT.
I will update the video if the URLs change. These URLs should block 95+% of videos.
BTW: Not all Wifi routers have parental controls especially older ones. In that case, you must use OpenDNS to block any website or app with inappropriate content and adult content.

How to remove Jetta 2007 Fuel Filter
Переглядів 143 тис.9 років тому
This video will show how to remove the fuel filter of a VW Jetta 2007. There are some other videos on the internet. I decided to make another because I felt it was needed. Otherwise I wouldn't have made it. Shot on a Samsung Galaxy S3. Made and published 112515.
I got lucky, mine was already flashing green, just wouldn't pull up the management page at all. Didn't have to short the IC. Was able to reflash using this method. Good job.
Very helpful video. Thanks
dude thanks for this video. that C shape piece you pull on that rotates fell out of mine and I could not find any pictures how it goes back in but your video clearly show me how it works. Thanks!
Do you know how to block ads on Tubi through TP Link?
No.. But I'm guessing you have to play around with the urls and block them at random until you find the ones that are responsible for the ads. The urls tend to change due to updates happening all the time
‼‼MAY 2023 UPDATE ‼‼ So I checked out Tubi the other day and they added new urls because they updated their app. So if you wanna block the app and cause the app to malfunction again..... Add the following URLS below to the OpenDNS server I told you to make in the VIDEO and this will block Tubi real bad on ALL DEVICES connected to your router: video-previews-cdn.production-public.tubi.io ark.tubi.video pixel.production-public.tubi.io tensor.production-public.tubi.io 🔥🔥🔥BONUS TIP 🔥🔥🔥ADD the URL below to block ALL ROKU TV ADS that appear on the side of your apps. display.ravm.tv (Sorry Roku. I like ads specially if they are good ads but... When you keep serving me (and everyone else really) ADS of movie titles like "Booty call", movies that rhyme with "milk" and other movies with posters of girls in bikinis, I will just block all your ads. SHAME on you for advertising adult movies to all audiences.) BTW.. if you want to block other apps, follow and isolate 1 device on your router (like TV) and monitor all the URL traffic that that device getting. Then find urls that look like they are the ones feeding the app and add them to openDNS. Check back with the TV or device you chose to see if the app was blocked. Do this until you get the winning ones that block what you want to block! THIS IS HOW THE GAME WORKS GUYS!
amazing! this video was of huge help after i closed the contacts with a screwdriver like u showed i was able to get the network interface of the router going, but alas tftpd64 did not work at all, i tried 3 times, ended up using nmrpflash specifying manually the ip and mac and it did work
just for clarification: it WAS my last resort, i tried everything, the router's network interface was simply not working, it did not connect and i couldn't even ping it let alone open the menu
Thank you for your kind words! I am very happy this worked for you as well! It is a little tricky to do and you need patience and some tech skills but you did it! 😀
Got one of these exact models from eBay very economically - and the last resort ended up working! Thank you.
Happy to help you! 😀😊
Question: you have header pins why didn't you flash through cfe? it would have been much safer to do. Short pinning the flash chip is one of the worst things to resort to doing, as this will permently destroy the chip and instead of throwing it away, the router should be recycle properly there are hazardious matierials and parts on the pcb. I had to thumbs down your vid, it promotes a very risky technique that is dangerous even though this router is quit old it is still used. The problem is not firmware related it is the cfe got corrupt and the only way to undo this is to flash through the cfe.
Because for CFE you have to buy pins and it doesn't always work, it more complicated to find code and your wasting money and time. Besides this is an old router which is why I short circuited it. I didn't really care about it and i mentioned that in the video. I also said this was a last resort method before throwing it away and buying a new and way better one. And to do this at your own risk. It's worked for me and for some other people as you will see on comments.
@@rodaraguz You have the header pin already in place on the router shown in the video? Yes it does work flashing through the cfe, what commands did you use? That is not enough to justify bad advice.
Hey there my dude, thanks for this Vid. BTW, can one add a high gain external antenna to this router?
I would not buy a high gain external antenna. You are wasting money. Those things don’t make much of a difference at all. i don’t think this router supports it and but it does work very very well on 2.4G. Remember this is a wifi4 released in 2009 We are are at wifi6. I would encourage you to go to Walmart and buy a cheap $60 dollar wifi 6 router. On a 100MB ISP plan you will get 112MB on a wifi 6 router. On a wifi 4 like this one you would get like 60MB tops. Do not buy a high gain external antenna. Watch thiojoe’s video on this. What you could do is buy a wifi6 router and set this one up as an access point.
👍 buddy short and to the point. You showed everything no avoidance of what not. Right on! You the man!!!
Got the first 2 clips off and the last clip seemed to not come out any help?
Did you remove the Phillips screw to reveal the hidden screw shown in the video?
When I ping all I get is host unreachable any idea what I can do?
Maybe the cable is not connected properly (sometimes this is the problem) or you disabled the network adapter by accident or have the wrong one enabled. On windows 10, Go to setting and search for "Change adapter options" to check what is enabled and change it to the "Ethernet" controller
Good video with details on clips. I’m having trouble with mine. Thanks
I would like to block the UA-cam app on my roku? Do you know how tu do it?
I would not block this on OpenDNS because it would be blocked everywhere and UA-cam is very good app everyone uses. I would probably add the youtube.com url to the blocklist on the router ONLY and make sure it is ONLY for the device you want like TV for example, otherwise you will block it on all devices which I do not recommend. UA-cam is a very very useful app.
Thank you even tho this vid was posted a year ago this help tremendously
Np, so happy it helped you!
i have the wndr3400v2, i flashed the openwrt but the wifi did not work, i was going to use a modded ddwrt firmware that works with version 2, but when i flashed it with the OG firmware, it bricked, however i did not had to resort to opening the router, the bricked state automatically gave me ttl=100 so i use the tftp and i was able to revive the router, now i was able to flash the ddwrt mod firmware and IT IS WORKING LIKE DANG!!!
Hi Octavio, I have this router; but want to update the firmware. You said you got DDWRT working. Interesting, yeah Tomato claims to make it work. Do you have an FTP server, on the DDWRT Firmware. Is it worth it, compared to the old, original firmware. I saw that link to the new DDWRT (moded). I want to compare the 2 firmwares, to see which one might be better, or have the features that I would be interested in. It is refreshing, to hear that the moded version of DDWRT works, because there is still no official version. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks!
2022 VIDEO UPDATE: I did not mention it in the video but please make sure that you install the correct fuel filter. There are basically 2 types of pressures (in bar) . There is the (6.6 bar) fuel filter and the (4.0 bar) fuel filter. For a 2.5L engine it is usually the (4.0 bar). For a 2.0L engine it is usually a (6.6 bar). Since my car is a 2.5L engine I installed the 4.0 bar filter. But please make sure you research it anyways or install the same one it came with. Here are some links I found (non-affiliate links; you can buy a filter from whatever website you want. This website just happened to have the list I was looking for): 6.6 bar Models - www.shopdap.com/make-model-year/volkswagen/jetta/mk5-2005-5-2010/engine/2-0-turbo-fsi/repair/fuel/fuel-filter-6-6-bar.html 4.0 bar Models - www.shopdap.com/make-model-year/volkswagen/jetta/mk5-2005-5-2010/engine/2-5/repair/fuel/6q0-201-051-j.html HOPE THIS HELPS!!!😀
Thanks for the video. It helped with my 07 Rabbit.
Do you know what I'd have to do to block Roku's Newsmax App on my Router?
To block any app, you would first need to find the url. If it's from a computer browser it's easy like for example google.com. But if it's from Roku Tv you need to use a router and look at the report to see the url because it's probably different. You can see this at 2:55 Then once you find the url you Then you add the url to OpenVPN and it blocks it. Your router needs to got through OpenDNS first which is why you need to set it up. There's other videos on UA-cam that go indepth that show you step by step how to do this set up OpenDNS account and link it to your router. Hope this helps
@@rodaraguzso what do you exactly do Mr What did you graduate in ?
what are you showing us? is the video clear to you?
this is no more working. it didnt work for my netgear r7000....i tried more than 1 month, nothing works. Stay away from netgear people. it is no good router
Hi, sorry to hear that. Please remember this video is strictly only for the model listed. It has worked for some people. I don't know anything about the r7000 model.
I have mine that kept blinking so I followed this step. But now it is still blinking even after I waited 30mins after the flash
Hi, check that your TTLs = 100. Also double check that the firmware is loaded on the TFTP. For some reason it likes to change to something else.
你好,我也使用这款路由器。
Tomato and DDWRT have a firmware open source for this router, but the DDWRT version is a (moded) version that is not officially supported.

Hello sir my n600 main net cable port is not working
Hi It's most likely that the pins are bent maybe because the ethernet cable was pushed too hard so they are not making contact. You could try pulling them out very carefully with tweezers or a paper clip to get good contact. If nothing works, it is a waste of time to fix it so its best to buy the newer AX Wifi6 routers which are better and faster even if you don't have Wifi6. This router is kinda old (November 2016) so that is why I decided to fix it the way I did in this video because I was going to buy a newer one anyways.
Clear and Informative. Appreciated.
Legend. Genius. Mate you are a LIFE SAVER!! It worked on my bricked DGDN3700 as well ...!!!
Thanks! I'm happy it helped!!! : )
Please my tenda wifi N301
Thank you Guy, i got the same wndr3400v2, which i killed while fw flash, but not sure for the way to update via putty. Now after i saw your Vid and recognize the blinking LED at my router, it was tight and easy doing a restore of my ddrwrt without any problems ! Hope my english isn't too much bad =D
Thank you for this! Those clips were tricky!
If you tried this and it worked for you, feel free to leave a comment below!
Hey bro would you mind leave your email to asking you something about reboot urgently thank you
Where is it located. Couldn't tell from the video. Thanks
under the passenger rear door or on the side of where you have the gas cap
@@rodaraguz thank you

It was going well until I found out the screw holding my fuel filter was completely rusted flat. Since I don’t have anything to remove it I’m going to have to bring it to the mechanic so they can lift it and have an easier access point. Useful video tho, thanks!
I am going to replace it on my Wolfsburg... hopefully that will fix my issue... because I wouldn't like to buy the fuel pump $$$... Thanks for the tutorial 👍👍
going through the samething, with my 08 weighting my options...before the fuel pump, was this your issue
You are the best!!Thanks for this educative video!!
I have a 2009 2.5L MK5 and have not changed the OEM fuel filter. It has 121k miles on it. I have used Lucas fuel injector cleaner and it has cleaned the deposits out of the system. I don’t think the fuel cleaner did much for the fuel filter itself. The problem is I’m experiencing late throttle response. I feel it might be the fuel filter that is causing the issue. How overdue is the fuel filter change? How often should I change it?
Old comment but this can help others. You are over 80k miles overdue, this should be replaced every 40k miles.
Nice job & excellent video quality. I wrote to your channel, will you subscribe to mine? Good morning, I have a channel that deals with car repair and maintenance, diagnostic testing with laptop-mobile, immobilizer adjustment, mileage adjustment on a used dashboard, etc. Do you want to take a look?
Very good video!
Thanks!
Thanks Just did this on my 17 Jetta 1.4t No issues . I didn’t need any tools as well I have VCDS so primed the system but you don’t really need VCDS for this. Thanks
Much better and clearer than the other video of the same thing. No wasting time with extra video footage.
Any future watchers: Remove the fuel pump fuse and try to start or stall the car, that way you wont have as much fuel spill all over the place. Also i wouldnt remove the fuel cap since it has negative pressure which helps you not to spill too much.
Which one is the fuel pump fuse?
@@boomerguy9935 the red one. No im kidding youll have to figure this out yourself, depends on make, model and sometimes even date of assembly
@@D3nn1s I found it in the owner's manual. It's a 15A fuse in the fuse box inside the cabin, on the left side of the dash. Easy to find.
@@boomerguy9935 good job. I tried looking for mine but theres no diagram or label i could find for a golf. Now just pull the fuse and wait for it to stall, then there should be no fuel pressure left and u wont make a mess :)
I have a 2004 Jetta GTS with this same setup, oddly enough - do you know what the part #is for that particular filter? I am really tired of arguing with AutoZone counter help when they repeatedly insist on handing me the wrong part!!
